In the face of the severe and complex epidemic prevention and control situation at home and abroad, in 2021, the Inner Mongolia Border Management Corps will take epidemic prevention and control as the top priority and do a good job in "external prevention of import and internal prevention of rebound".

During the epidemic prevention and control period in Erenhot, Ejina and Manzhouli, more than 500 police forces were dispatched to support the frontline of the fight against the epidemic, 332,000 sets of epidemic prevention materials were allocated, and the whole police donated 673,000 yuan to Ejina Banner to fully support the prevention and control of the epidemic in the territory.

In addition, the Inner Mongolia Border Management Corps at all levels participated in the security work of major activities, dispatching a total of 24,000 police personnel, 8,100 vehicles, visiting and inspecting 7,500 key places (times), rectifying 217 social security problems, and eliminating the hidden dangers of public security in the border areas of the ports to the greatest extent. Deployed a series of special operations such as "Anti-Narcotics Clean Border 2021", concentrated crackdown on crimes obstructing national (border) border management, and cracked down on gun and explosive crimes, successfully cracked a number of major and important cases such as the "2021.9.11" case of organizing others to illegally cross the national (border) border and the "2020.10.05" extraordinarily large cross-provincial gang theft case, and cracked 109 criminal cases, investigated and dealt with 1748 public security cases, cracked down on 2660 illegal criminal suspects, and arrested 21 online fugitives 27 guns of various types and more than 15,000 rounds of ammunition were seized.

The border inspection department has adhered to the national port throughout the year to ensure the safe and smooth customs clearance of 11 ports under the normalized epidemic prevention and control situation.

Yan Ruikai introduced that the innovative implementation of non-contact entry-exit border inspection and inspection modes such as "hanging", "hoisting", "transfer", "mutual non-boarding, mutual recognition of seals" and "magnetic strip lead seals" has provided convenient customs clearance services for 461,000 freight employees, 310,000 sub-energy vehicles and more than 6,000 China-Europe trains, helping China-Europe trains to grow by about 16% against the trend under the background of the global epidemic spread.
