Artistic and non-artistic

From the second half of 2011 to the first half of 2017, the unified examination for teacher qualification certificates is not divided into art and non-art subjects. However, in 2017, the Notice of the Department of Teacher Work of the Ministry of Education on the Separate Coding of Public Subjects for Candidates for The Examination for The Sound, Body and Beauty of the Primary and Secondary School Teacher Qualification Examination (Teacher's Letter [2017] No. 34) requires:

Starting from the examination in the second half of 2017, the written examination public subjects I and II (subject codes: 201, 202, 301, 302) for candidates majoring in music, sports and beauty will be separately coded (corresponding subject codes: 201A, 202A, 301A, 302A) The content of the exam is temporarily the same as that of the original subject.

After the implementation of separate coding, candidates for music, sports and beauty majors should choose to apply for separately coded public subjects (201A, 202A, 301A, 302A) when registering for the written test.

Since then, art and non-art have been distinguished.

The difference between the two

Candidates who have passed subjects 201A and 202A in the primary school stage will be interviewed only to participate in the major subjects of music, body and beauty in the primary school category;

Candidates who have passed subjects 301A and 302A in the middle school stage will be interviewed only to participate in the major subjects of music, sports and beauty in the categories of junior high school, high school and secondary vocational culture class.

Note: Candidates who obtain passing scores of subjects 201, 202, 301 and 302 can be substituted for the passing results of subjects 201A, 202A, 301A and 302A;

Candidates who obtain passing scores of 201A, 202A, 301A, 302A are not substituted for passing scores of 201, 202, 301 and 302.

How to test the new subjects?

For example, according to the Notice of the Department of Teacher Work of the Ministry of Education on Adding "Mental Health Education" and Other Disciplines to the Primary and Secondary School Teacher Qualification Examination (Teachers' Letter [2017] No. 41), the document requirements:

Since the second half of 2017, the primary school teacher qualification examination has added "mental health education", "information technology" and "primary school general subjects" to the primary school category interviews; and the junior high school, high school, and secondary vocational culture class interviews have added "mental health education", "Japanese" and "Russian" subjects. For the written examination subjects 1 and 2 of the new subjects in the above categories, select the corresponding public subjects (201, 202 or 301 and 302) when applying for the written examination.

The written test subjects of the new disciplines in the categories of junior high school, high school and secondary vocational culture class, "Subject Knowledge and Ability", are evaluated together with the interview.
