On November 25, 2021, Beijing officially opened the first pilot commercialization of autonomous driving travel services in China, and Baidu and Xiaoma Zhixing became the first batch of enterprises to be allowed to carry out commercial pilot services. What are the current operational experiences? Zhang Ning said that the concept of Robotaxi has been around for many years, and in the early years, everyone questioned the technical feasibility, and then the technology advanced by leaps and bounds, and everyone doubted the commercialization of Robotaxi and the acceptance of users. After more than two months of operation, these questions have been answered.

Zhang Ning believes that to show the public automatic driving technology, to show the industry investors and partners the bright future of autonomous driving, there is a need for an operating model; the charging model allows enterprises to have unmanned technology in their left hand, the landing of commercial operation in the right hand, and the commercialization pilot in November 2021 has opened up the second pulse of Ren Dou.

Zhang Ning introduced that the current operation time of Xiaoma Zhixing is from 8:00 to 22:30, and dozens of vehicles provide commercial services in the core area of Yizhuang. On a 5-point scale, the average score was 4.91, and the overall feedback was very good. Yizhuang passenger experience autonomous driving commercial service has become the norm, and wants to provide passengers with a driverless experience that integrates the wisdom of people and the soul of the driver.

For the charging problem, Zhang Ning said that in the early stage of the charging model, it is hoped to attract more users to test ride the vehicle through a relatively preferential price, although it will be reasonably priced according to the length of the mileage, but it has taken a price of 4.9 yuan to attract the user experience, and users are willing to pay for the service.

What is the room for optimization of commercialization pilots? Zhang Ning said that from the user's point of view, hoping to use autonomous driving travel services on a larger scale also means that the operating area can be gradually expanded in 2022. In addition, to a certain extent, the supply exceeds demand, there will also be queuing, and it is hoped that more transportation capacity can be invested in the future, and after reasonable adjustment, there will be a more market-oriented pricing mechanism to meet the needs of local consumers.

What are the differences between vertically autonomous driving companies and car companies? Zhang Ning believes that the two sides will cooperate more and more in the future, if in the early years, each family can engage in technology behind closed doors, and the scale of users will become larger and larger in the future, and it will definitely sink to the combination with the car more and more, so in the future, autonomous driving companies and car companies will cooperate in depth to do the industry together.
