It specifies that the parents or other guardians of minors are responsible for the implementation of family education, while the State and society provide guidance, support and services for family education. "Parents or other guardians shall establish the sense of responsibility that the family is the first classroom and parents are the first teachers, assume the main responsibility for the implementation of family education for minors, and educate minors to develop good thoughts, conduct and habits with correct thoughts, methods and behaviors..." Recently, in order to fully understand the great significance of the promulgation of the "Family Education Promotion Law", effectively publicize to parents, and strengthen school guidance services, a publicity and education lecture on the "Family Education Promotion Law" was held at the Ninth Primary School in Huichuan District.

At the lecture site, the teachers systematically studied the relevant content of the "Family Education Promotion Law", carefully recorded it, and from time to time discussed and spoke on relevant issues.

Feng Xu, director of the Student Development Center of the Ninth Primary School in Huichuan District, said that the implementation of the Family Education Promotion Law is of great significance to the implementation of the spirit of the central "double reduction" document, changing the situation that "the family is only an extension of the student classroom, and parents are only the assistants of the school teacher", liberating family education from the subordinate status of school education, and truly realizing the mutual cooperation between school education and family education.

Feng Xu said frankly that in recent years, while positive progress has been made in family education work, there are still some parents or other guardians who do not have a strong sense of the main responsibility of family education, believing that family education is a "private matter" behind closed doors, and others cannot intervene. The promulgation of this new law has elevated family education from a traditional "family affair" to an important "state affair" in the new era.

According to Feng Xu, in order to widely publicize and educate the Family Education Promotion Law, the school publicized the Family Education Promotion Law to parents, teachers and students through speeches under the national flag, "a letter to parents" on the WeChat platform, parent-school meetings, parent-school meetings, and the establishment of a home-school co-education coordination center.

"The school popularized the Family Education Promotion Law to us through parent-teacher conferences and publicity materials, and in the process of publicity and popularization, we also realized the importance of nurturing children and accompanying children, and learned a lot of ways to communicate correctly with children." Xiao Anyan, a parent of a student, said that in the future, she will pay more attention to communication with her children and help her children buckle the "first button" of life with her baby in accordance with the law.

It is understood that in order to solidly promote the implementation of the "Family Education Promotion Law" in Huichuan. Recently, the Huichuan District Education and Sports Bureau made arrangements and deployments, requiring schools to publicize the "Family Education Promotion Law" through the dispersal ceremony, home-school communication, class WeChat group, etc., and effectively do a good job in providing family education guidance during the holidays, so that students can grow up safely and healthily during the holidays. At the same time, the district primary schools and kindergartens are required to report a briefing on the publicity of the Family Education Promotion Law or the guidance of family education during school holidays.
