(The Woman Who Told History – No. 725) The world is full of wonders. There was once a wizard in the world, also known as a mysterious prophet, whose predictions were fulfilled. Finally, the wizard predicted his empire and his impending death. But then the empire was accurately destroyed, and he himself was killed and killed. So who is this wizard? Why did he get killed without dying? Did he end up dead? For more information, this issue is broken down.

The wizard predicted the Empire and his own time of death as a result of the Empire's demise but he was killed

First, the mysterious work of Rasputin

This wizard was a man of the Romanov dynasty of the Russian Empire, this person was named Grigory Yefimovich Rasputin (1869-1916), he had a variety of identities, in addition to wizards, also known as the priest of the Russian Empire, elders, prophets, gods, monks, etc., in short, he was a mysterious figure in the period of Nicholas II of the Russian Empire.

Rasputin, a native of the village of Pokrovskoye in the Tyumen region of Siberia, had his father been a gambler in his early years, but his family was still very rich at the beginning, and then the family fell into the middle of the road. Rasputin was a scoundrel in his youth and a horse thief. He worked as a priest in his thirties and is said to have had a variety of skills, including miraculous healing skills and miraculous prophecy powers. He made a name for himself by successfully predicting a March drought somewhere in Russia.

In 1905, by chance, Raspuddin came to St. Petersburg, the capital of Russia. Here, using his divination and spells, he easily co-opted a group of nobles and flourished throughout high society. soon

One of Tsar Nicholas II's uncles' pet dogs fell ill with a strange disease and asked Raspuddin to cure it, and he miraculously cured the dog

。 Since then, his reputation as a "divine doctor" and a magical "prophet" or "fortune teller" soon spread to the Imperial Palace of the Russian Empire.

2. Rasputin took control of the imperial government as a curse to the imperial palace

Raspudding's good fortune came again. Alexei, the son of Emperor Nicholas II of the Russian Empire at the time, suffered from hemophilia, a disease that has been circulating in the royal families of European countries for a long time and is very difficult to treat. This upset Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra. Because whenever Alexei fell ill, almost all the people were helpless. Both the emperor and the empress were a believer in mysticism and liked to entertain such figures as "priests", "holy children", "prophets", "soothsayers", "saviors", and so on, and it was at this time that Raspuddin appeared in time.

In 1907, crown prince Alexei fell ill again, and the empress was very anxious, so she persuaded Nicholas II to let the legendary divine doctor Raspuddin try to see if he could cure Aiko's illness. In this way, Rasputin entered the palace. Amazingly, things that even the court doctor could not do were solved by Rasputin.

The wizard predicted the Empire and his own time of death as a result of the Empire's demise but he was killed

He only gave the crown prince a small packet of medicine powder, then prayed a little, and then sat down next to the crown prince and told him some stories, and he was finished. A few days later, the crown prince actually recovered his health!

After that, the crown prince became seriously dependent on Rasputin, as long as he was in the palace, the prince was very healthy, as long as he left the palace, the prince fell ill, and his body and spirit were extremely poor. In view of this, Rasputin remained in the palace for a long time. Over time, the wizard became ambitious in an attempt to interfere with and control the empire's politics.

This aroused the emperor's vigilance. In 1915, Raspuddin had a bad relationship with the Tsar and was expelled from the palace. As a result, the crown prince suddenly had a nosebleed, and the queen had to turn to Raspuddin again. But the cunning Rasputin set up a shelf and deliberately went two days late, causing the prince's condition to worsen and be very dangerous. But as soon as he entered the palace, the prince was miraculously well. Since then, the Tsar has completely obeyed.

Yet the catastrophe in Russia also began. Rasputin was given the title of "Tsarist Lamp Bearer" and was free to enter and leave the palace. As a wizard and prophet, Raspuddin still has a unique job.

It is that he has two superb hypnotic eyes.

His piercing blue eyes glow blue when he stares at people, and his voice is always frightening and sleepy. His hypnotic eyes are like Ecstasy, once they are targeted, the other party will be fascinated. It is said that he used this method to hypnotize many Russian aristocratic maidens and make them lose their bodies. If he had a relationship with a virgin, Raspuddin would collect a lock of her hair. Later, when demolishing the house where he had lived, boxes of women's hair were found in the garden.

It is rumored that Raspuddin's sexual prowess is super strong, so some noblewomen admire him. Even the Empress Nicholas II was likely to have had an ambiguous relationship with him. Later, his control of the government was supported by the empress. After the outbreak of The First World War, in 1915, the Tsar left St. Petersburg because of the imperial conquest, and the Empress regent, but in fact, the power of the DPRK and China fell into the hands of Rasputin. He made the imperial court a miasma.

In the two years from 1914 to 1916, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Russia changed 4, the Minister of The Interior changed 6, the Minister of War changed 4, the Minister of Foreign Affairs changed 3, and the Minister of Justice changed 4. It was all manipulated by Rasputin. He appoints officials without principle and is left to his own feelings. For example, he made Goromekin, who was nearly eighty years old, the chairman of the Council of Ministers.

Even just because he loves to eat potatoes made by his wife.

He has the final say, and he will be deposed if any official offends him.

Russia's already sharp internal contradictions and repeated defeats on the international battlefield, Raspuddin's nonsense soon brought the empire to the brink of collapse.

Later, a nobleman, Basile Schulekin, described Raspuddin this way: "Raspuddin is a duplicitous. In front of the royal family, he showed the face of a humble elder, and the queen looked at him and could not help but believe that he was possessed by God. But in front of the people, he showed a vicious side, showing the filthy side of his wine-colored bald donkey." The Russian populace could no longer look at it, and even the nobles who were loyal to the dynasty were furious, believing that Raspuddin was a demon, a liar, a satyr, a man who had brought calamity to the country.

Despite Rasputin's notoriety, he still wielded power in the imperial court because the empress had been protecting him. On the one hand, she was inseparable from Raspuddine, and on the other hand, she was also conquered by Rasputin. The Queen said: "The saint is always slandered, and people hate him because we love him". She didn't believe in any way that Rasputin, the man who had cured her son of hemophilia, was a liar.

Many officials in the COURT and China begged the empress to drive Raspuddin away, but the empress refused, even when it was rumored outside that Raspuddin was her lover, she was indifferent. The Queen's sister Elizabeth tried to persuade her to no avail.

Iii. Rasputin's "mysterious" prophecy

Raspuddin was able to gain the absolute trust of the Tsars, in addition to his ability to cure the Crown Prince's hemophilia, but also because of his mysterious prophetic powers.

Shortly after Rasputin entered the palace, although he was cured of the crown prince's illness, people were not very convinced of him. One day, Rasputin suddenly said nervously to the Queen: "Your Majesty the Queen, you must not let the children into the children's room, I have seen the impending disaster!" Sure enough, a few days later, a huge chandelier fell from the ceiling in the children's room and shattered. Seeing this, the queen was grateful and admired Rasputin's five bodies. But according to some later reveals, this was actually a trap for Rasputin, who had previously sawed a chain of crystal chandeliers in the children's room.

One day in October 1912, Crown Prince Alexei, who was suffering from hemophilia, accompanied his father while hunting in Poland, suddenly fell ill, with a high fever and bleeding. The imperial doctor felt powerless, believing that the prince was no longer able to do so, and even asked the emperor to prepare for the prince's aftermath. At this moment, Rasputin, thousands of miles away, called and said that God had seen the tears of the queen and that the crown prince would certainly survive. A miracle happened: the prince's body temperature began to drop, and the bleeding slowly stopped.

Rasputin also predicted that the crown prince would be better after his 13th birthday, and this prediction was also verified.

Raspuddin's astonishing power of prophecy led the Tsar to his great favor,

Even such a big thing as the war made him meddle.

Especially on the battlefield of the First World War, whether it was the course of battle or military mobility, the Tsar had to listen to Rasputin's opinion. For example, whether the front line launches an attack and when it will attack also depends on Raspuddin's prophecy. But these "prophecies" were later revealed by historians to be rasputin's gibberish after drinking or in his sleep. This also cost Russia dearly on the battlefield.

On one occasion, Rasputin claimed to have had a dream, saying that he had been inspired by God that the Russians should attack near Riga. The Tsar did this, only to be defeated by the Germans. In another campaign, when the Tsar's army clearly had the upper hand and victory was in sight, Rasputin instigated the Empress to send a telegram to the front line, demanding that the Emperor declare an armistice, simply because he had an "unfortunate dream". As a result, the Russian army lost an impending victory.

One day in December 1916, Nicholas II, who was on the front line, suddenly received a letter from Raspuddin.

The wizard actually gave a prophecy in his letter that he himself would be killed before January 1917.

The wizard predicted the Empire and his own time of death as a result of the Empire's demise but he was killed

Rasputin then made a mysterious prophecy: the Russian Empire, the Romanov dynasty, would perish within 3 months of his death.

His last two predictions proved accurate. He was killed in December 1916, and on March 8 of the following year the "February Revolution" took place in Russia, and the Romanov dynasty collapsed.

But there is a very strange question, Rasputin prophesied that the empire was accurately destroyed, although he himself was killed, but when he was killed, he was always killed.

Four

The process and reason why Rasputin was assassinated, but he was killed

Because Rasputin's troubled court had aroused the public anger of the ministers and officials of the DPRK, everyone wanted to kill him quickly, but because of the protection of the empress, everyone could not do anything about him. So a prince decided to plan his assassination. The prince was called

Yusupov

He was born into the richest family in Russia, and his father was once mayor of Moscow. Yusupov was also a veritable relative of the Emperor, and his wife was the niece of the Tsar.

There were also two masterminds involved in the assassination, one of whom was

Demetri

Grand Duke, who was the cousin of Tsar Nicholas II, and another was a right-wing member of the Russian Duma

Pulischikovich

On 29 December 1916, Prince Yusupov, Grand Duke Dmitry, and Prisckivić began to act. They then recruited Yusupov's close friend, Captain Suhowkin, and a doctor, who set traps in Yusupov Palace in Petrograd. Because Raspuddin was a satyr, Yusupov lured Raspuddine with his wife Irina as bait. They first gave Rasputin 8 cakes mixed with the poisonous potassium cyanide, and then made him drink a bottle of Madeira mixed with potassium cyanide. Curiously, however, Rasputin did not react.

So Prince Yusupov had to shoot Rasputin in the lung. Rasputin was shot and fell. When everyone thought that Rasputin was dead and was about to dispose of his body, he suddenly woke up, rushed up and grabbed Yusupov's throat, shouting: "What do you want to do, do you want to conspire against me?" Not so easy! Look how I hang you tomorrow! Then Rasputin broke free from the siege and ran to the courtyard of Yusupov Palace. Mp. Pulisikvich chased him out of the house and fired three shots at Rasputin, the last of which hit him in the head.

Now he should be damned. Everyone dragged Rasputin into the house.

Surprisingly, however, Rasputin woke up again!

What an undead demon! So the enraged Prince Yusupov slammed his temple with a dumbbell, knocking him unconscious again.

Finally, Rasputin's body was thrown into an ice cave on the Neva River. However, when Rasputin's body was recovered the next day, the forensic examiner said that Rasputin was not dead when he was thrown into the water because his lungs were full of water. If it was a corpse thrown into the river, there would be no such water in his lungs. Rasputin should have survived for 8 minutes in the water below the ice before drowning.

That is to say, Rasputin did not die after eating poison, being shot four times, and being beaten with a dumbbell, and if he had not been thrown into the river, he would have come back to life. If he hadn't been thrown into the river at that time, maybe he would still be a living person now! That's an exaggeration, isn't it?

However, there are more exaggerated claims about the undead Rasputin. Raspuddin's body was embalmed and transported to the Imperial Village, where Queen Alexandra built the catacombs for him. Later, in the Revolution in Russia, Rasputin's grave was dug up, and when his body was burned, the body suddenly sat up from the coffin and opened its eyes! Eventually, the soldiers poured kerosene on the corpse and burned it to ashes after 10 hours.

Is Raspuddine really a demon? Why did he get killed without dying?

To this end, later experts have made some explanations:

First, Raspuddin may not have eaten food containing potassium cyanide at that time, because the person who murdered him at that time let the waiter put poison into the food, and the waiter, fearing reprisals, may have exchanged the poisonous food; secondly, when Raspuddin's body was fished out of the water, the reason why he had water in his lungs was that the shot fired by Prince Yusupov hit his lungs, so after the body entered the water, the water entered the lungs from the gunshot wound; finally, when the body was burned, it may be because Rasputin's tendons were not cut. The body naturally curled up when burned, causing Raspuddin to struggle for a while, which was later exaggerated as if he had sat up.
