An unforgettable interview
Yesterday, when I saw the news of Comrade Liu Siqi's death on the Internet, my mood was very depressed, just like the grief of losing a loved one. Although Comrade Liu Siqi and I have only met once, through several letters and many telephone calls, I feel that the old man is very kind. In particular, the scene of interviewing her in that year is still vividly remembered. Her amiable voice remained in my mind forever. It was in late September 2003, when I briefed her on the process of creating the radio drama "The Call" and asked her to write an interview for the "Call" play.
In that year, the radio drama "The Call", written by me and recorded by Dandong Radio, reproduced the heroic deeds of Mao Anying who was the first to sign up for the volunteer army and die on the front line of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. In the spring of 2003, I mailed the audio disc and script of the "Call" drama to Comrade Liu Siqi, asking her to check and propose amendments. In 2003, after winning the "Five One Project Award" in Liaoning, the "Call" drama won the first prize of the National Radio Literature and Art Research Association. Before I went to Chengdu to receive the award, I had a phone call with Comrade Liu Siqi and reported the news of the award. Said they would like to see you when they return to Beijing, can I? She said very cheerfully, welcome. As long as I am in Beijing, you are welcome to come.
At the end of September, I flew from Chengdu to Beijing and called Liu Siqi. She knew that I was anxious to return to Dandong, so she said that I could come this afternoon after my treatment.
At two o'clock in the afternoon, I came to the 305 Hospital with Wang Zhongjia, director of the photography department of the People's Daily, and under the guidance of the nurse on duty, I met Comrade Liu Siqi, and she was very happy to invite us to sit down. Comrade Liu Siqi and I have been on the phone many times and do not feel strange. After we greeted her, I briefly reported on the creation and awards of the "Call" drama. On behalf of Danton Radio, I would like to thank her for her support and encouragement to us, and to hear your opinions on the "Call" drama in person. After my report, Comrade Liu Siqi said emotionally: Thank you very much to the comrades in Dandong for not forgetting Shore Ying. Thank you to the Propaganda Department of the Dandong Municipal Party Committee, the Dandong Radio and Television Bureau, thank you to Dandong Radio, and especially thank you, Comrade Wang Jun (when reporting to the leader, I did not report my words of thanks.) ), created the radio drama "The Call", and sent Kishi Ying, who had lost me for many years, back to my side. I even thought, in a sense, that this was a play I wrote for a man. When you sent me the script, I was in my seventies, but it is no exaggeration to say that I read it in one sitting. I was really moved by the plot, which was very vivid and moving. She then made a very good comment on the plot: a few of the more important and key plots are very good to grasp, which is not easy. It can be seen that you have a high political level and a spirit of excellence, while at the same time following the laws of artistic creation. "The Call" is a good work that embodies the main theme and is very infectious. The title of the play is also profound and concise.
When I talked about the scene in the play in which Kishi Ying and you met on the front line of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, she laughed, this scene is very good, very wonderful, it is the truth of art. In fact, at that time, I often dreamed of being with Kishi Ying! After that, he also spoke fondly about the past with Mao Anying. Whether it is kishiying's hard work, overloaded work, strict self-discipline, simple life scene, or Liu Siqi's sincere admiration and infinite nostalgia for Kishi Ying's deep affection, we are deeply moved.
When I proposed to ask Comrade Liu Siqi to write an inscription for "The Call", she gladly fulfilled my wish. The pen solemnly and affectionately inscribed "The people call you, Shore Ying."

She smiled and said, yes, yes. And humorously said, then I have to comb my hair first! She went to the bathroom to comb her hair and took a picture with me.
When we were about to finish the interview, a young female comrade came in, and I looked at it, isn't this liu siqi when I was young? It's too much. Comrade Liu Siqi immediately said: This is my daughter, come, I will introduce you to you, this is Comrade Wang Jun of Dandong Radio, the screenwriter who created the radio drama "The Call", and this is Comrade Wang Zhongjia, director of the photography department of the People's Daily. Her daughter thanked us very politely. After more than an hour of interviewing, we took the initiative to say goodbye, and Comrade Liu Siqi sent us to the door of the room and thanked us continuously. We asked her to stay, and she asked her daughter to take us to the stairwell.
On the train back to Dandong, the amiable image of Comrade Liu Siqi still flashed in my mind. So the mouth is absolutely absent:

Back in Dandong, I gave a comprehensive report on the interview with Comrade Liu Siqi. The leader instructed me to write a message immediately, and a few days later, the mainstream media in Dandong published Liu Siqi's inscription on the prominent page.
During the editing of the anthology "People, Call You Shore Ying", I invited Comrade Liu Siqi to write a preface to the anthology on the phone, and she said that she had already written an inscription, so I wrote it. I said, the leadership research is still asked to write, so that the collection of essays will have more weight. At this time, she laughed, there is such a serious thing. Then I will respect your opinion and write. Finally, please revise it. I immediately said, yes, yes. Thanks! Soon after, she received her printed "The People Call You, Shore Ying". We'll typeset right away. After the anthology was published, I mailed it to Comrade Liu Siqi. After receiving the anthology, she made a special phone call to thank you and said that she would welcome you to Beijing when she had the opportunity. I thank her for her concern. In the spring festival of the next few years, I received her holiday blessing text messages on my mobile phone, and I immediately sent her blessings to her old man's home. I keep all of this on my phone as a souvenir.
