Looking back on the 2021 that has just passed, the whole library of Comrade Liu Shaoqi Memorial Hall adheres to pragmatic and effective results, integrity and innovation, and has made effective progress in many aspects of cultural relics work, focusing on a "new" word.
First, the protection of cultural relics into the new environment

In April 2021, our museum successfully completed the first phase of the preventive protection project of cultural relics in the collection, established a set of warehouse environmental monitoring system, purchased a number of cultural relics storage cabinets, constant temperature and humidity cabinets, acid-free paper capsules and other equipment and facilities, and basically built a standardized and modern cultural relics warehouse covering an area of nearly 2,000 square meters. Complete the relocation of cultural relics in the collection and let the cultural relics move into the "new home".
The construction of the cultural relics protection and restoration center and the cultural relics appreciation room have been completed. The framed panel wall of the calligraphy and painting mounting and restoration laboratory has a usable area of more than 46 square meters, ranking the forefront of the province.

The paper heritage imitation laboratory adopts CRUSE185ST-4.0 linear multi-function scanner, which can realize the simulation scanning and imitation of large paper cultural relics. At present, our museum is making a reproduction of the basic exhibition of "President Liu Shaoqi of the Republic", replacing the collection with a copy, which can not only protect the collection but also not affect the audience's visiting experience.

At the same time, on the basis of completing the restoration of the hunan provincial cultural relics protection unit - Tanzichong School (old site) in 2020, the supporting project around Tanzichong School will be completed in 2021, and the surrounding supporting projects include the construction of hillside protection around the former site of Tanzichong School, the construction of ancient well protection sheds and the restoration of ground triads around ancient wells, and also include supporting service facilities such as public toilets and duty room construction, which meet the basic opening conditions.
Second, the publicity of cultural relics expands new forms
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China, in cooperation with the "Xinxiang Review" magazine of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the "Centennial Style" column was launched to promote 5 precious cultural relics in the collection of 5 issues in Feng Er and 5 issues, and to publicize the spiritual style of Comrade Liu Shaoqi.
Red resources are the testimony of our party's arduous and brilliant struggle, is a valuable spiritual wealth, our museum actively uses red cultural relics resources, combined with the 85th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March, the 70th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Tibet, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the 20th anniversary of Beijing's successful bid for the Olympic Games and other current political hotspots, the development of the original column "Huaminglou Appreciation of Cultural Relics". Since September 2021, the cultural relics research results have been pushed on platforms such as the "Huaminglou Scenic Area" WeChat public account, and 13 phases of the push have been completed, and some of the cultural relics collected in this column are the first public appearances. Among them, the 9th issue of "Invitation to Liu Shaoqi's Tiananmen Square in 1966" was displayed by the official headline number by more than 159,000 and read by 13,000.

In September 2021, the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Film and Television organized relevant cultural relics appraisal experts to grade the 795 pieces (sets) of collections declared by our museum, and determined 8 pieces (sets) of first-class cultural relics, 21 pieces (sets) of second-class cultural relics, 70 pieces (sets) of third-class cultural relics, and 365 pieces (sets) of general cultural relics.

Among the cultural relics that have been graded this time, some of them have outstanding historical significance, such as the clothes worn by Liu Shaoqi and Wang Guangmei to attend major state events; some cultural relics have a greater commemorative value, such as Comrade Peng Peiyun's inscription in memory of Comrade Liu Shaoqi; and some cultural relics reflect revolutionary friendship, such as works signed by Yang Chengwu, Xiao Hua, and Bao Erhan to Wang Guangmei. Most of these cultural relics have been donated by the relatives and friends of Comrade Wang Guangmei since 2007, mainly the daily necessities, clothes and books used by Comrades Liu Shaoqi and Wang Guangmei.
According to the "Regulations for the Collection of State-owned Museums" issued by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Finance, the collection collection work was done. In accordance with the collection procedures, our library adopts the process of first appraisal and evaluation and then collects collections, and collects collections in batches. Throughout the year, a total of 1534 pieces (sets) of collection were collected through the Changsha Cultural Relics General Store and the invitation of cultural relics experts to participate in the independent collection.

Fourth, the exhibition of cultural relics has accumulated new achievements
In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and deeply remember the outstanding contributions made by Comrade Liu Shaoqi to the development of the party and the country, in June, our museum designed the special exhibition "Liu Shaoqi and the Communist Party of China" and was selected as the "Fine Exhibition celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" jointly promoted by the Propaganda Department and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. The exhibition consists of eight parts, with an exhibition area of about 700 square meters, the main exhibition line is about 170 meters long, and 24 cultural relics (sets) are exhibited. This exhibition is different from the space design and utilization of the previous indoor exhibition, relying on the Jiangnan characteristic garden building of our museum - the cultivation pavilion, carefully layout, divided into a semi-open exhibition space, forming a complete and smooth, focused visiting flow, and striving to create a novel and diversified visiting experience for the audience.

In order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Liu Shaoqi's wife, Wang Guangmei, our museum launched the exhibition "Chinese Outstanding Women Wang Guangmei". "Chinese Outstanding Woman Wang Guangmei" consists of six parts, the exhibition area is about 100 square meters, the exhibition line is about 50 meters long, and a total of 15 pieces (sets) of precious cultural relics related to Wang Guangmei are exhibited, which systematically shows Wang Guangmei's outstanding life. Most of the precious cultural relics on display belong to the newly graded cultural relics in August and are displayed for the first time. On September 26, Comrade Liu Yuan attended the opening ceremony.
