Gynecological surgery was broadcast live, and the dead sheep could not wait!

Recently, some netizens broke the news that there are suspected male doctors in Station B broadcasting gynecological surgery. On January 18, Station B responded to this: After internal verification, the live broadcast room was repeatedly warned and cut off during the live broadcast on January 15, and then was permanently banned. The police of Rizhao City, Shandong Province, reported on January 18 that the public security organs had arrested the doctor involved, Li Mou, at about 18:00 on the same day, and a case has been filed. On January 19, the hospital involved said it would "be dealt with according to the results of the police investigation" (Surging News on January 19).

The live camera actually reached out to the gynecological operating room! As soon as the incident was exposed, it quickly appeared on Weibo's hot search and received fierce criticism. At present, although the websites and hospitals involved have responded in a timely manner, such a phenomenon that violates medical ethics and the bottom line of the law continues to arouse concern and heated discussion. For the response of the website and the hospital, some netizens expressed dissatisfaction.

At present, the response of all parties involved should also be staged. First of all, the matter has been filed, and all parties involved have the responsibility to cooperate with the police to find out the facts of the case, which is a top priority; second, once the matter is exposed, I believe that everyone's first feeling is "serious problem", but to what extent is it serious? Is this case a civil tort, a public security case, or a possible crime? Third, from the analysis of the currently reported situation, even if the live broadcast is the work of the doctor involved in the case, the live broadcast activity involves the hospital operating room and the live broadcast room of the website, and whether the relevant personnel of these two "places" have corresponding responsibilities? It is not yet certain.

But then again, even if the relevant treatment results cannot be made now, it is completely out of reasonable psychological expectations to ask the hospitals and websites involved to come up with a more positive response attitude.

In the case of the hospital involved, although the conditions for dealing with relevant personnel are not yet mature, it is not necessary to wait for the outcome of the case to reflect, examine and make up for its own management loopholes in a timely manner and make the relevant situation public. Hospitals and doctors must protect the privacy of patients, which is a minimum of medical ethics and a clear requirement of the law. For example, the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China stipulates that medical institutions and their medical staff should keep patients' privacy and personal information confidential. The Law of Practicing Physicians clearly stipulates that if a physician discloses the privacy of patients in his or her practice activities, causing serious consequences, he will be punished with a warning or order to suspend his practice; if the circumstances are serious, his practice certificate will be revoked; and if it constitutes a crime, criminal responsibility will be pursued in accordance with law. How can such a strict prohibition be broken in practice? Is the hospital management system not strict enough, there are loopholes in the implementation, or is it only a personal problem of the doctor involved?

Gynecological surgery is on the live broadcast, does the website also have questions that need to be reflected and examined? At present, platforms and websites will clearly require broadcasters to ensure the legitimacy of their live broadcast content, but in the face of massive live broadcast behavior, only relying on the broadcaster's self-awareness or netizens to report, the supervision density and intensity are obviously not enough. As some netizens pointed out: "Does such a live broadcast need to be warned many times and then cut off?" In the face of all kinds of chaos, platforms and websites must strengthen the prior review of the qualifications of broadcasters, the supervision of the live broadcast process, and the timely handling of netizens' reports. To this end, I am afraid that many websites and platforms need to come up with more specific methods, take more practical measures, and invest more efforts. In this way, it will undoubtedly greatly increase its management costs, but the "live broadcast on gynecological surgery" incident is enough to cause a wake-up call: once the live broadcast content has serious problems or even illegal crimes, the platform may also be to blame, and may eventually have to pay a greater price.

"It's not too late to make up for it", having said that, such a bad live broadcast, even this time alone, is already too much! In particular, the live broadcast content was transmitted from the operating table to the live broadcast room, and the two layers of "protective nets" were both broken, which was incredible. Therefore, while cooperating with and waiting for the police investigation, all parties involved need to do and do solid things immediately, a lot!
