"I am the wife of the deputy commander-in-chief of the Eighth Route Army, and even if I die, I will not fall into the hands of the Japanese."
The loud words made everyone very moved, and the feelings between Mr. Peng and his wife were getting deeper and deeper.
It was not until 1959 that the situation changed, and Pu Anxiu was under a lot of pressure in the work unit, and eventually Pu Anxiu, who could not bear this pressure, had more and more contradictions with Marshal Peng Dehuai and filed for divorce.
After hearing this news, Marshal Peng Dehuai was silent for a long time before he said, "I don't blame me for this matter, nor do I blame her, make an appointment to say goodbye." ”
So Pu Anxiu finally came to Li Garden to negotiate divorce with Marshal Peng Dehuai.
When she came, Marshal Peng Dehuai was sitting in the pavilion in the backyard, carefully cutting a pear, and after peeling it, he used a knife to split the pear in half, and said to Urayasu,
"If you want a divorce, eat this half of the pear, I will agree, but I will not eat." 」
Pu Anxiu hesitated for a while, but finally ate the half of the pear and left in a daze, while Marshal Peng Dehuai looked at her back and was silent for a long time.
Inheritance distribution, urayasu's choice
In 1974, Marshal Peng Dehuai died of illness, and before his death, his last wish was to see Urayasu, but unfortunately it was not achieved in the end.
In 1979, the state paid marshal Peng Dehuai's relics, as well as unpaid salaries and funeral expenses.
