Most of the urban areas on the north side of the Burhatong River were built between 1930 and 1940. The Burhaton River is the largest river in the city and belongs to the Tumen River system.
Bounded by the Tong River in Burha, the city of Yanji can be roughly divided into two parts: Henan and Hebei.
