/1. First determine whether to live on the west slope or the north slope
In winter, go to Changbai Mountain, mainly play the west slope and the north slope. If you want to ski well, stay on the west slope, and if you just want to play attractions, you can live on the north slope.
We only operated on the west slope this time, because it was 2 hours to drive between the north slopes of the west slope, and the round trip was 4 hours, which was too tossed.
The west slope and the north slope can be on the tianchi, but every day due to the different wind and snow conditions, it is not necessarily open, it is recommended to ask the hotel front desk on the morning of departure, and the account on the little red book will be updated every day.
If your itinerary code has an asterisk, you can't go to Tianchi, and the scenic spot is not accepted.
The hotel attractions on the west slope and the north slope are distributed
Hotels on the west slope are located in Wanda and Luneng Resorts, and it takes 20 minutes by car from the hotel to the scenic spot. The west slope has a good angle to see Tianchi, but you need to walk 1442 steps. You can play west slope rafting by the way, a total of two options: ecological rafting, Tianchi water first drift (the itinerary code with stars can also drift).
Hotels in The North Slope are in Zhihe (Erdao Baihe), Crowne Plaza. Looking at the Sky Pond on the north slope will block some of the view, but the north slope is more abundant, passing through hot springs, waterfalls, and underground forests, and it is recommended to eat hot spring eggs. No need to climb stairs, eco-friendly car + off-road vehicle delivered. You can play the North Slope Demon World Rafting by the way (the itinerary code with stars can also drift).
The southern slope of Changbai Mountain is only open in the summer, and it is the best season to see Tianchi in July and August. Dongpo is in North Korea.
Tickets to Tianchi are purchased in the mini program "Wisdom Changbai Mountain", and can be bought on the same day.
2. West slope live Luneng or Wanda
We were mainly skiing this time, so we only visited hotels on the western slope. Wanda Resort, Luneng Resort, two places next to each other, from the airport more than 20 minutes by car.

Note: During the pandemic, the two resorts have different policies.
Luneng: 48-hour nucleic acid report + landing nucleic acid test (done in the resort), the test results can only be out of the room (can not ski). The landing inspection ends at 3 p.m., after which the arrival of tourists can only be done the next morning, and the report is issued the next night. The ski night ski resort is closed and closes at 4 p.m.
Originally, I planned to arrive in Luneng at noon, complete the landing inspection on the same day, and go skiing early the next morning. Unexpectedly, the flight was delayed until the afternoon arrival, and the next day could only do the landing inspection, and had no choice but to cancel luneng's trip.
Wanda: 48-hour nucleic acid report + landing nucleic acid test (done in the resort), no need to wait for the test results, can be active in the scenic spot (can ski). The landing check ends at 5 p.m. The ski night course opens some of the pistes and closes at 9pm.
Because it was more convenient for Wanda to ski, I later changed my ticket and went straight to Wanda.
3. Wanda Resort Hotel Selection
Luneng I originally planned to stay in a Swiss hotel, but did not go to... So there's nothing to share.

Wanda If you want to ski, the value for money choice: Jinhua vacation. Value for money means that the facilities are average, but the location is good. Close to the ski slopes, commercial streets, skiing and eating. The room I was staying in at the time had a pistes outside the window and a 3-minute walk to the ski service center just a 3-minute walk from the back door of the hotel.
(Some netizens told me that this is very bad, overnight changed to other hotels, so it mainly depends on what everyone picks the focus of the hotel, and weighs it yourself.) ）

Well equipped and best location: Hyatt, then Park Hyatt. Basically not bad money friends book these two on the line, these two hotels are not only close to the snow, commercial street, but also have their own igloo, in the hotel to change the equipment directly to start, skin in & out, no need to go to the service center toss. (Especially the Hyatt, from the igloo directly out of the White Tiger Ropeway entrance, simply not too close!) ）
The location is relatively remote, and the hotel with cheaper prices can be considered: Outright, Yuehua.
The hotel in Changbaishan is more special, the official price of the platform is often more expensive, you need to find a local travel agency on the Fliggy to book, the difference between the two is 600. However, hotels booked by local travel agents will not be refunded unless you are in a high-risk street.
The price of the package before the Spring Festival of Jinhua Vacation is about 1600 a night, including free airport pick-up, a free ski ticket once a day, a hot spring at Hallasan Hotel, and an ice and snow park.
The fare of hyatt and park before the Spring Festival is around 3,4000 a night. The benefits included are the same.
4. Changbai Mountain cuisine
Inside the Wanda Resort, it is expensive and unpalatable. On the first day, I ate home with northeastern dumplings and stepped on thunder. I think the Northeast cuisine of McDonald's and Hyatt Regency Restaurant is OK (sauerkraut and white meat are recommended).

There are many choices in Songjianghe Town, but listen to me, be sure to eat "three-year-old beef barbecue"! None of the restaurants recommended by any raider are as good as it is, and they are not at all inferior to The Korean barbecue in Beijing. This is a netizen recommended to me on Weibo, she said that she ate 3 times in 10 days, indeed did not deceive me, the meat quality is good, the seasoning is good.
This restaurant is not a tourist business, the customers are all local residents, I took a taxi to eat, and the driver said, "How do you come to such a remote place to eat?" Thoroughly recommended! I recommended this shop to friends who went to Changbai Mountain during the Spring Festival, and all of them reported that it was delicious.

5. Ski-related
Just one thing to say: stay in the hotel gift ski ticket, you can only ski once a day, enter the cable car before 8:30-16:30, count the matinee, 16:30-21:00 count the night show. If you want to ski all day, it is recommended to buy your own tickets for the night show, hotel guests are not on holidays 150 people.
But the night show is very cold, everyone should be mentally prepared, ski pants if not thick, sweater pants have to wear.
It is recommended that you bring your own ski clothes and goggles, because only snowshoes, ski equipment, and helmets are free of charge in the ski tickets.
If the weather is good

Recommend a well-landscaped beginner trail: slide from the Lady's Road to the back mountain, take the cable car to the top of the mountain, and slide down the Commander's Road. When we went, the commander-in-chief did not have enough snow to open, and we did not dare to slide the high-level road, so we had to take the cable car down.
But lady Road because of the shade of the mountain, the wind is relatively strong, I stood in the snow to shoot a video for Wu fans, blew a few times the wind suddenly felt very cold, sitting on the cable car can not stop shivering, feel the body lost temperature, hurry back to the room to get better.

6. Hot spring related
It is still recommended to take a dip in an outdoor hot spring on Changbai and experience the feeling of ice and fire. If you want to take a good dip, it is recommended to spend money to take a taxi to Tianmu Davis. Because the free Hallasan hot spring sent by Wanda is really smelly, a smell of feet.
7. Rafting related
Rime rafting is this year's influencer project. If it hadn't snowed the night before, I wouldn't recommend going at six in the morning. Snow + low temperature only have rime to see, the north slope to see the probability is greater. It's not snowing, and no matter what time you go, you won't see the rime.

Almost all the rafting raiders let everyone get up early, 6 o'clock or even 5:30 o'clock to leave or something, there is a rime, if there is no rime, the morning minus 20 degrees outdoor queue for an hour or two, what is the picture?
And in the morning, the most people, the raft boats one after another underground water, the whole river is full of people, taking pictures is not easy to hide.
When I went, it didn't snow for several days, so I had to go at noon, without a single person, sitting on the whole river, and the surrounding area was particularly peaceful. Although there is no rime, there is bright sunshine, and it looks as good as taking pictures. Specifically, you can watch my video.
8. Transportation-related
Whether it's going rafting, scenic spots, or eating in town, you'll have to take a taxi. But Changbai Mountain can't use Didi, so you can only ask the hotel front desk to help call a car, Taobao to book a car, or ask the restaurant for dinner if you can help call.
Restaurants that specialize in receiving tourists often have cooperative drivers, so it is cheap for them to help call a car. I asked the hotel to call, from Wanda to Songjianghe town for dinner, 40 one way, from town to the airport, 60 one way. The hostess of volcanic rock roast helped us get a ride to and from Wanda 40.
I went to the west slope rafting during the Spring Festival, round trip + rafting tickets, asked the cheapest is 158 one person. If you go to the Tianchi scenic spot, it will be more expensive, because the driver has to wait for the guests to finish playing and send them back, and they have to take in a day.
9. How to wear it without being cold
We are people who have been to Lake Baikal in Siberia, and Changbai Mountain is really not a problem.
Everyday wear
Upper: UNIQLO HEATTECH ultra warm base, a chunky turtleneck sweater, Canada Goose Expedition Parker coat, 50 pieces of ski gloves.
Bottom: Uniqlo HEATTECH base, Hengyuanxiang wool pants, thick cotton sweatpants.
Shoes and socks: wool ski socks, Sorel snow boots.
Hats are a must-wear.

Face: Yepro magnetic mask, Atomic Savor Stereo + ski goggles sponge sticker (because this snow goggle is not Asian face, so you have to paste an extra sponge sticker yourself, otherwise there will be fog).
