The next morning, the man followed the old monk out of the temple and went out of town. One night a month later, the man and the old monk slept in a cave. After dawn, the old monk told the man that the villagers had driven you out of the village, saved you in disguise, and let you escape the disaster. The man asked the old monk, why do you say that the villagers drove me out of the village, but they saved me in disguise and let me escape the disaster? The old monk said, now I can tell you the truth, when you have not yet arrived at the temple, I will find out that there will be an earthquake soon, so when you come to the temple, I said that this is really Providence, if you do not go to the temple, it is estimated that you will die in the earthquake. The man said, so the villagers in the village are dead? The old monk said that if I was not mistaken, they should all be dead. The man said, or we will go back and have a look. The old monk said, "Well, let's go back and have a look."
When the man and the old monk arrived at the village, they found that the village was in a mess and the houses had all collapsed. Only then did the man fully believe what the old monk had said. The old monk said to the man, the temple where I live should also collapse, so you go with me to repair the temple. The man said, "Okay."
