The surname "Yun" only began to exist from the Western Han Dynasty, Sima Qian's grandson Yang Yun, a standard official of several generations, was beheaded for being convicted of the imperial court, and his son was exiled to The Biling "Hezhuang", which is now The Menghe in Changzhou, after arriving in Changzhou, he took his father Yang Yun's name "Yun" as his surname, so the surnames of Yun in the world were all from Changzhou.

The Shangchen Yun Ancestral Hall, now located in The Qishuyan Canal Park in Changzhou City, near the west of the archway, was relocated to this place in 2017 and is a general immovable cultural relic in Changzhou City.

Relocated to the park in the Yun Clan Ancestral Hall sits west to east, the door above the gate brick to the "Yun Clan Ancestral Hall", the entrance door is a small courtyard, the three-bay hall in the middle is the hall of enjoyment and the dormitory, and in the middle is the tablet of the ancestor.

The original site of the Shangchen Yun Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Shangchen Village, Meigang, Dingyan, QishuYan, Changzhou City, that is, less than one kilometer away from the new site in the current park, and the Shangchen Yun Clan belongs to the "Beiyun", from Dakan Yunjia Village, Shitang Town, Jiangyin City, and is a descendant of keshun Gong. Therefore, the ancestral hall has the words "Dakan Yimai" engraved on the forehead of the door after entering the door, indicating that the Shangchen Yun clan was moved from Dakan.

Genealogy is a family lineage of a surname, and the last continuation of the Genealogy of the Yun Family was in 2007, with a total of fifty volumes. In 1947, the genealogy was also revised, when there were a total of thirty volumes of genealogy, and a complete set of existing genealogies has been collected by private collectors in Wuxi.

The Qianlong Emperor of the Qing Dynasty also particularly liked Yun Nantian's boneless paintings, and specially accompanied his paintings with poems.
