Chelsea suffered a four-round winless league draw with Brighton in a 1-1 draw, as many as 12 points behind top-up Manchester City, who were the front-runners two months ago.
In the 12th round of the Premier League, Chelsea led the table with 29 points, three points ahead of Manchester City and four points ahead of Liverpool. At the beginning of the 13th round of draws with Manchester United, Chelsea continued to concede points, and only won one of the last seven rounds. With one game ahead, Chelsea are already 12 points behind Manchester City and one point behind Liverpool (two games less).
