Original Dreams (Essays)

Yesterday, I watched the first issue of the second season of "Readers", its theme is "initial heart", and there is such a sentence in the opening sentence of the volume: "The original heart may be a simple wish, changing fate with knowledge, and winning honors by ability." Some original intentions, walking and walking, are lost, and some initial intentions, no matter how far away, we will still firmly go close to it. "Yes, everyone's original dream is changing with their own growth, and my original dream is still chasing.

When I was in elementary school, I believe everyone was asked the question by the teacher, "Students, what kind of work do you want to do when you grow up?" "Teacher, when I grow up I want to be a doctor, a teacher, an engineer, a mathematician, a painter... Everyone has their own dreams. I was asked the same question by my teacher, and I just shook my head and didn't know what I was going to do in the future.

Until I went to junior high school, my brother applied for college to fill in the volunteer, I began to slowly understand the nature and background of the industry corresponding to each major, helped my brother to watch for a few days, and had a preliminary understanding of my career planning, at that time I took the power industry as my most ideal career choice. In this way, I had this dream, went to high school, and when I scored well in the liberal arts, I chose science without the slightest hesitation, because of this choice, I was one step closer to my dream. After the college entrance examination to fill in the volunteer, all my choice of majors are related to electricity, relatives and friends said that "the best in the electric power industry is the electric self-major", combined with the score and the school comprehensive consideration to choose the hydrodynamic major, although and the initial idea is biased, but I am still pursuing my original dream.

The college teacher used a very humorous sentence to introduce us to the major of hydrodynamics, "The water conservancy and hydropower major is like farming, the hydrodynamic major is raising pigs, and the electric self-major is relative to selling pork." "It seems that when I was admitted to this major, I basically chose my own career, but I was also closer to my dream." After four years of study, on-site internship, and in the graduation season, many of my classmates chose other industries because of their working environment and conditions and stayed in the city, while I still chose to chase my dreams and chose the hydropower industry.

Since joining the work year, there have been confusion, there have been disappointments, but more is the harvest, from the first worry about getting lost in the factory, to what equipment in what position, what role, can be said a little bit; from the single theory in the book, to the actual maintenance operation, are on the road to chase the water and electricity dream of a heavy stroke.

As a newcomer, all I can do at the moment is to work hard, let myself sweat in ordinary posts, rejuvenate my youth and enthusiasm, and make myself grow rapidly, although I am only a beginner, but I am also full of passion for work. Along the way, in the process of learning from the master, let me deeply feel the dedication, responsibility and enterprising of hydropower people, I feel deeply fortunate to be able to chase their dreams in such a collective, and their spirit is also inspiring me to continue to set sail on the road of chasing the "hydropower dream".
