What is even more worrying is that because many of our embassies, companies, medical teams and other units and companies stationed in Somalia at that time were near the official somali department, and this happened to be the area where the rebels focused on attacking, many Chinese compatriots were inevitably affected by this civil war.
The next morning, a group of Somali bandits rushed into the compound of our staff office and opened fire indiscriminately, almost injuring several of their compatriots working here.
On the morning of the third day, our business office was repeatedly plundered by rogue bandits, and all the cars, generators, communication equipment, and grain were snatched away by the other side, and they fell into the dilemma of lack of water and food in the same place, which was difficult to communicate with the outside world, and could face danger to their lives at any time.
The situation continued to deteriorate, and in the afternoon, there was an urgent call for help from my radio station, and it turned out that my medical team assisting Somalia had been attacked by bandits, who not only snatched away my medical team's cars, diesel engines, rice, gasoline and other materials, but even small items such as chargers.
