Front
"Front" looks professional? In fact, it is the interface or transition zone of two air masses with different physical properties such as temperature and humidity. Simply put, it is the interface of the cold and heating group.
The intersection of the front and the ground is called the front, referred to as the front. The length of the front can generally be hundreds of kilometers to thousands of kilometers, and the vertical direction can be extended for more than ten kilometers. According to the thermodynamic classification method, if the cold air mass pushes the warm group forward, it is called a cold front; conversely, it is a warm front. If the cold and heating groups are equally powerful, they are called quasi-stationary fronts. If the cold front catches up with the warm front, it will form a prison front.

What to do if you see a cold front?
In winter, the cold front is stronger, which will bring cold waves; in summer, the cold wind is weaker, which will bring thunderstorms. note! When the cold front crosses the border, it can cause a temperature difference of up to ten degrees between two places in the same province. Pay attention to the appropriate increase or decrease of clothing!
Upward rush to Genting
The upward thrust cloud top, as a feature of strong storms, is associated with updrafts that clearly pass through equilibrium heights (i.e., the height of the top of a broad thunderstorm cloud). On the visible cloud map of the Fengyun satellite, the upshoot clouds appear as bright bulges, like "small gnocchi".
In the three positions A, B and C in the figure, the bright bulge of the upper cloud top can be seen.
What should I do if I see Shangchong Genting?
The appearance of the upward rush cloud tops indicates a strong updraft in the region and a greater likelihood of severe weather.
Roller clouds
Also known as a wavy cloud, it is a horizontal tube-shaped cloud. When stable air is disturbed, wave clouds are created that cause the air to move along the interference, like a wave in a pond.
This interference is usually generated when cold, dry air from a moving cold front collides with a relatively stable area of warm, moist air. If the stable layer of air is moist, a cloud is formed at the top as the air flows upwards. As the air flows downwards, the clouds evaporate.
