After the "four major referendums," the "legislator" by-election in Taichung, and the defeat of the recall case of Lin Changzuo, an "legislator" without party membership, the KMT did not dare to be optimistic about the county mayoral election at the end of the year. The participants relayed that Xie Kunhong, Shen Zhihui, and other members of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee pointed out at the afternoon regular meeting that they hoped that there would not be too many splits in the primary election in the future, and suggested that the right to nominate should be concentrated as much as possible and coordinated by the party Central Committee.

Zhu Lilun said at the Central Standing Committee meeting that the KMT will not ban the twists and turns of the initial election and will coordinate as soon as possible; after the lunar year, the nomination group will concentrate its firepower to support the strongest electors in various counties and cities, so as to minimize the INTERNAL friction of the KMT and concentrate its firepower to the maximum; on local issues, it will focus on the people's livelihood, and the KMT will have a common goal and issue an overall exposition on the issue of people's livelihood.

In his speech, Zhu Lilun mentioned that after the Taichung City Legislator by-election, the DPP repeatedly attacked and smeared Mayor Lu Xiuyan, using the expropriation case of sections that had not yet completed the urban plan, with the intention of confusing the public and causing social misunderstanding; the DPP's attacks on the land used in the home of Zhang Lishan, governor of Yunlin County, in the past two days, are completely out of proportion to the principle, and the purpose is to achieve the effect of rendering and squid.

The Kuomintang Central Standing Committee also adopted the election schedule and operational rules for the 21st 1st Central Standing Committee today, and the election of the Central Standing Committee members will be registered from January 27 to 28; the vote will be cast on March 5; and the list of elected members will be announced before March 8. The Central Standing Committee Election And Supervision Committee passes the candidate qualification review by February 8, and candidates can conduct election campaigns from February 19 to March 4.
