Before his death, Chen Jinglun donated and built a number of schools, hospitals and other institutions across the country. In 1990, Chen Jinglun donated 20 million Hong Kong dollars to build the Chen Jinglun Sports School in Hangzhou. Wu Luqi recalled that at that time, Chen Jinglun came to Hangzhou to investigate, passed by the newly built Hangzhou Major Sports School, and was very interested after being introduced by the municipal leaders, and immediately made a donation for the expansion of the Hangzhou Minor Sports School.
"20 million Hong Kong dollars, at that time, was a huge amount of money, sports school expansion with this funding, venue facilities have been a qualitative leap." Wu Luqi said that with Chen Jinglun's donation, the municipal government also allocated land to expand the construction of the municipal sports school, and after the completion of the second phase of construction in 1993, table tennis, badminton, martial arts, wrestling, swimming and other projects were all included in the sports school for training and management, and it had its current scale. At the same time, the name of the school was officially changed to Hangzhou Chen Jinglun Sports School. In 1994, with the approval of the relevant departments, the first batch of full-time physical education secondary school students were enrolled.
"China swims to see Zhejiang, And Zhejiang swims to see Hangzhou." Chen Jinglun Sports School has a total of 22 projects in training, and the fame of swimming projects is undoubtedly the loudest. Every summer, the gymnasium is "popular", the indoor and outdoor swimming pools are full of trained children, and the fence is full of waiting parents.

Wu Luqi said that Chen Jinglun's wife is from Hangzhou, so she has special feelings for Hangzhou, and before he was 90 years old, he would bring his wife and children almost every year.
