The "Moon" flower window is located in the Crane Shou Pavilion in the West Garden of the Coupling Garden, with an oval shape, one in the north and south of the flower window, and the two fans have the same shape but slightly different details. A pavilion with two windows, in pairs, which alludes to the theme of couples' coupling. At the same time, the flower window here echoes with the pseudo-sun pattern flower window of the East Garden, yin and yang contrast, and the sun and moon echo.

The interior of the flower window has a concentric double ring shape like a rotating water pattern, and the window core and window frame are carved from brick finely, with ingenious composition and exquisite carving. Most of the flower windows in Suzhou gardens are geometric patterns made of tiles, narrow green bricks, wood, etc.; and when you want to shape the natural shape pattern, you can use paper ribs and gray to knead and mold, or such as the coupled garden moon flower window, carved with bricks.
