The release of "Railway Guerrilla" in 1956 caused a heated discussion in the country for a time, making people realize how strong this anti-Japanese armed force in the Lunan area was, and the plot of "climbing trains, bombing tracks, running into banks at night, and taking medicine by flying cars" can be described as boiling with blood.
But what many people don't know is that this film is not only artistic processing, but also a true portrayal of part of the history of that period, including the protagonist of the film , Liu Hong.
In fact, there are two prototypes of Liu Hong, one is the founder of the railway guerrilla group and later the captain Of Hong Zhenhai, and the other is the second captain Liu Jinshan. In order to commemorate the heroic events of the two of them, the author Liu Zhixia took their surnames to form the name of the protagonist - Liu Hong.
So, what was the final outcome of these two brigade leaders, Hong Zhenhai and Liu Jinshan? Their incident is still widely spread in the Lunan region, so what honors did they achieve after the founding of the country?

Born in 1910 in Teng County, Shandong Province, Hong Zhenhai was born into a family of carpenters, and because his family was poor, he often helped train drivers do some work to subsidize the family, and when he was older, he climbed the train with other poor children to make food. What he did not know was that these helpless acts forced by life, these inadvertently learned skills, laid a solid foundation for him to lead the railway guerrillas to grow step by step in the future.

In fact, the railway guerrillas were only an intelligence station at the beginning, and with the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the fall of Zaozhuang, Shandong, where Hong Zhenhai was later located, the control of the Japanese army over Zaozhuang made China's anti-Japanese work very unsuccessful.
Under this circumstance, Hong Zhenhai, who had begun to have a patriotic consciousness, joined the vigorous anti-Japanese wave and became a member of the anti-Japanese intelligence station to provide favorable intelligence for the Communist Party. Later, he spontaneously formed a Zaozhuang railway team based on railway workers with only a dozen people, with Hong Zhenhai as the captain.

With the expansion of the contingent and the increasingly close cooperation with the Communist Party, the Zaozhuang Railway Brigade was finally called the "Lunan Military Region Railway Brigade" when it was led by the Eighth Route Army, and a series of feats such as breaking into foreign companies at night to intercept banknotes, shooting spies, and sneaking attacks on the Japanese puppet army were widely spread in the local area, so they were deeply loved by the people and were also known as the "Flying Tigers.". At the same time, they were highly recognized by General Xiao Hua, who not only recognized their work, but also fully affirmed their importance, calling them "swords in their arms and daggers in their sleeves".
Unfortunately, Hong Zhenhai only spent less than two years in the railway team before he died heroically. Because the railway team became more and more active in the Lunan area, it caused great losses to the transportation work of the Japanese army, so they saw them as a thorn in the eye and decided to attack them.
But Hong Zhenhai they are good at fighting guerrilla warfare and engaging in hiding, so the Japanese army has no way to take them for a while, and in a hurry, they threaten the local people, Hong Zhenhai is very angry after knowing it, and leads some people back to rescue the people. But in the end, due to the exposure of the target, he fell under the enemy's guns, and even fell in front of Liu Jinshan.

After Hong Zhenhai's death, the position of captain of the railway team was empty, and it is reasonable to say that Wang Zhisheng, as the vice captain, should be promoted to captain, why did Liu Jinshan finally become the captain of this brigade?
In fact, Liu Jinshan has been performing well and fighting well after joining the railway team, and he has a certain fate with trains when he was a teenager. Born in Zaozhuang, Shandong Province, Liu Jinshan, to a miner's family, had misfortunes, and when he was 8 years old, his parents died one after another, and in order to make a living, he came to the railway station at the age of 12 to work as an oiler.

Later, with the rise of the anti-Japanese wave, he joined Hong Zhenhai's Lunan Railway Guerrilla Brigade in 1940 as a correspondent. During this period, Liu Jinshan not only detected reliable intelligence on many occasions, but also disguised himself as a railway worker, led people deep into the enemy's interior, killed the Japanese puppet army, and achieved excellent results on many occasions.
After Hong Zhenhai's death, for the position of captain, Wang Zhisheng and Liu Jinshan carried out a "bean selection", that is, let others vote with beans, who has more beans in the bowl who wins, and finally, Liu Jinshan took the position of captain.
In fact, there is another reason, that is, Wang Zhisheng was seriously injured in the previous battle, frankly refused this position, therefore, Liu Jinshan was finally elected, but in any case, although the future railway team has more tasks, it has done a good job under the leadership of Liu Jinshan and has been praised many times.

With the continuous occurrence of incidents such as "speeding cars to seize medicine, climbing cars to grab cotton clothes, grabbing explosives, and blowing up railways", the Japanese army was more aware of the harm caused to them by the existence of the railway team, but Liu Jinshan they were good at hiding, so the Japanese army had no way for a while, and stepped up their rule and monitoring of the outside of the city, making Liu Jinshan they worry all day long and hide in Tibet.
However, they have also adopted measures to strengthen public order with China as a system of Chinese, that is, to develop and train the people who are not firm in our country to serve them and to stand in their stand to resist our people, that is, the so-called traitors.
However, there is also no harmony between the traitors, and there will also be contradictions between interests, and Zhang Jianbiao, Zhang Baochang, and Chang Shangde, the japanese and pseudo-township chiefs, have formed a grudge, because Zhang Jianbiao once pleaded with Chang Shangde and was framed, so he held a grudge in his heart.
Liu Jinshan, on the other hand, could not stand the life of hiding in Tibet in the east, and decided to take the initiative to attack, taking the Biggest Eyes and Ears of the Japanese Army, Chang Shangde, to "open shabu" and give warnings to other Japanese puppet armies.
In order to successfully assassinate Chang Shangde, Liu Jinshan skillfully used clever tricks to take the initiative to find Zhang Jianbiao, and his words and two words once again aroused Zhang Jianbiao's hatred for Chang Shangde, and then told him that he was going to kill Chang Shangde, and reached a consensus with him.

Finally, Zhang Jianbiao provided information about Chang Shangde, that is, Chang Shangde's travel rules and the situation of the compound, and then Liu Jinshan and Xu Degong disguised themselves as farmers selling vegetable seedlings came to the vicinity, and after finding Chang Shangde, they found the opportunity to directly take a gun to the back of his head.
"Brothers, there is something good to say..." The greed of the Japanese puppet army and the fear of death were immediately exposed to Chang Shangde, even though he had a close relationship with the Japanese army, even if he begged bitterly, Liu Jinshan they still dragged him into the sorghum field.
Subsequently, several gunshots came from the ground, and Liu Jinshan and they eliminated the biggest eyes and ears of the Japanese army. In fact, this kind of trick to stir up dissension Liu Jinshan is not the first time to use, in the previous Lunan Railway Brigade step by step, the Japanese army also has its own railway team in the local area, but it is composed of Japanese puppet troops.
There is no doubt that it was the destruction of the transport routes of our Communist Party and Liu Jinshan's actions. After Liu Jinshan knew, he went directly to the interior of the Japanese puppet army on one side, once again stimulated their contradictions, watched them "dog bite dog", and finally lost both sides, and this railway team also disintegrated.

By the end of 1942, under the command of the Eighth Route Army, Liu Jinshan's mission focus had changed slightly, and they were mainly responsible for defending the traffic route, escorting important cadres, passing through the enemy's military region, and successfully reaching the destination.
This task tested Liu Jinshan very much, and they not only had to communicate well with the cadres, but also formulated a strict plan to ensure the safety of the cadres on the road, while avoiding the enemy's sweeping, they were always on guard, and they were circling with the enemy to finally complete the task.

One day they received an urgent notice from their superiors, saying that they had been given an important task, that an important cadre was in urgent need of their escort, crossed the blockade area and successfully reached Yan'an, and that no mistake could be made. It was Liu Shaoqi, the political commissar of the New Fourth Army, who went to Shandong at that time to listen to the work report and gave instructions for the War of Resistance in Shandong at that time.
Liu Jinshan didn't know who they were going to escort at first, but they knew that the identity of this person must not be simple just by listening to the leader's instructions, so the nervousness of Liu Jinshan and the other brothers suddenly came up, and they rushed to the commander to wait for the next arrangement.
As soon as he arrived there, Commander Zhang Guangzhong said solemnly to Liu Jinshan: "This mission is to escort Comrade Hu Fu (Liu Shaoqi's pseudonym) through the road. You must accomplish this glorious and arduous task satisfactorily, and you must not make the slightest mistake. ”
Liu Jinshan, they paid more attention to it, and at the same time, they were very confused about who this person really was, and how could the commander pay so much attention. After Liu Jinshan and Liu Shaoqi were connected, Liu Jinshan could not feel any difference between Liu Shaoqi and Liu Shaoqi, so he told him that the enemy's blockade line was very tight, it was not easy to cross the enemy's blockade line, and the distance was far away, there were more than 100 miles, and it was necessary to cross the Jinpu railway line, and on the way it must be no more than usual, and he would suffer a lot, asking Liu Shaoqi if he could bear it and whether he could persist in walking.
Then Liu Shaoqi said firmly: "What are you afraid of?" You have guns, I have guns; you can go, I can go; you can fight, I can fight; you are Communists, I am also Communists; It's all the same people! ”

Liu Shaoqi's answer was round, and Liu Jinshan suddenly looked at him with surprise and understood why his identity was not simple. Then Liu Jinshan made a strict plan and set off. The first part of the journey is a guerrilla zone, which is relatively easy, and Liu Jinshan's journey speed is also relatively fast.
However, the second half needed to pass through the enemy's blockade area, which required them to be very vigilant, and when they were preparing to escort Liu Shaoqi to Huxi, the connectors there sent news that the enemy was carrying out a "great sweep" in the Huxi area, so Liu Jinshan and they had to temporarily stop the trip and wait for the enemy's sweep to pass before setting off.
During this period, Liu Jinshan and Liu Shaoqi spent more than ten days together, and became more aware of the wisdom of this important cadre, Liu Shaoqi not only held many meetings with them, analyzed the anti-Japanese situation at that time, and gave them important instructions: We must persist in the struggle.
Moreover, they were also instructed on how to unite the masses, organize the masses, mobilize the masses, and then establish their own anti-Japanese base areas, so that they could make this web bigger little by little like a spider web.
After Liu Jinshan and they successfully sent Liu Shaoqi to Yan'an, Liu Shaoqi also sent a special telegram of thanks, and at the same time asked them to protect this important transportation route. Since the end of 1942, Liu Jinshan, who had escorted nearly a thousand cadres before and after, had almost never made a mistake and was commended by the Lunan Military Region.

After our victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan in 1945, a small number of Japanese troops were still stubbornly resisting, and although there were no more direct conflicts and wars with our army, they interfered with our army's work of cleaning up and suppressing the Japanese puppet army.
In mid-August 1945, a few days after the Japanese army announced its surrender, Lin Weixian led his army to Shagou to carry out the work of clearing and suppressing the Japanese puppet army, but it was attacked by force, and Shagou could not be attacked for a while, so he called Liu Jinshan and sent him to the Japanese army to tell them that fighting the puppet army was our Chinese our own business, had nothing to do with them, and asked them not to interfere anymore. If you intervene again, you can only fight them together. Because the reason why Shagou could not be attacked for a while at that time was that the Japanese army was helping the Japanese puppet army to attack.
Liu Jinshan, who accepted the order, came to Shagou to find the black wood he had known before and explained his intentions. However, after Liu Jinshan returned, Lin Weixian was not at ease, so he sent him as a hostage to Shagou to supervise the Japanese army.
When Lin Wei launched an attack first, the Japanese said that Lin Wei first injured the lives of their soldiers and violated the agreement, so they directly locked Up Liu Jinshan, making Liu Jinshan unable to get out for a while, and even life safety was a problem.
However, the final result of the investigation was that the Japanese army secretly hid dozens of Japanese puppet troops, and Lin Weixian's men pursued them all the way before they accidentally injured them, and finally Liu Jinshan was released.

The third time he entered the sand ditch was to persuade the Japanese to surrender, when MacArthur ordered the Japanese army to surrender only to Chiang Kai-shek and not to the Communists, so this Japanese army has been sloppy.
But Liu Jinshan was so good at talking, and directly revealed General Chen Yi's orders, saying that they must be carried out and surrendered directly on the spot, otherwise they would be destroyed. So the Japanese army surrendered directly under pressure, and Liu Jinshan also captured a large number of weapons and ammunition.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, in the "100 Heroes and Model Figures Who Made Outstanding Contributions to the Founding of New China" activity, Hong Zhenhai was selected by the masses as one of the 150 candidates. Liu Jinshan's position changed several times, and he finally served as the commander of the Suzhou Military Sub-district, retiring in August 1980.
