Xiong Xiaoliang: Tonggu is located in the northwest border of Jiangxi, the county covers an area of 1552 square kilometers, has jurisdiction over 6 towns, 3 townships and 4 state-owned forest farms, with a total population of 140,000, is a national ecological county, a national key ecological function area, and a first-class revolutionary old area and county in the country.

This time I had the honor of becoming a provincial people's congress deputy and participating in the "two sessions" of the province, which also brought the "people's expectations" of 140,000 people in the old district, specifically the "four dreams":

The first is the "high-speed rail dream". The construction of the "Xianxiuji Railway" can form a new fast channel between the Beijing-Guangzhou and Beijing-Kowloon Corridors, fill the gap in the road network in the border areas between Gansu and Hubei Provinces, and is a revitalization road for the old revolutionary areas along the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, including Tonggu County, to speed up catch-up and development and change their backward appearance. At present, the project has been included in the "Jiangxi Provincial Medium and Long-term Railway Planning" and the "Jiangxi Inland Open Economic Pilot Zone Construction Implementation Plan", so we suggest that the province promote the Xianxiuji Railway into the national "14th Five-Year" Railway Development Plan" and "New Era Medium and Long-term Railway Network Planning (2035)", and strive to set up a station in Tonggu to help the people in the old area realize the "high-speed rail dream" as soon as possible.

The second is the "dream of settling down". In order to transform the housing conditions of urban citizens, especially low-income families, and achieve the goal of "residents have their own residences" for the people in difficulty, in the past two years, we have completed the transformation of more than 400,000 square meters of shantytowns, implemented the transformation of 13 old residential areas, and launched the construction of more than 3,700 sets of shacks in 6 resettlement sites.

The third is the "education dream". In order to promote the high-quality and balanced development of county education, properly solve the problems of "large school quota" and "large class size", and vigorously develop vocational education and build a cradle for the cultivation of "craftsman spirit", Tonggu County is building a new Tonggu Middle School and Tonggu Secondary Professional School in different places. At present, the construction project of the new Tonggu Middle School and the Tonggu Secondary Professional School has completed the construction drawing design and project budget, and the project bidding is underway, and the main project construction of the campus will be started soon.

The fourth is the "medical dream". For a long time, the construction of medical infrastructure in Tonggu County has been relatively weak, and the only second-class first-class comprehensive hospital- Tonggu County People's Hospital, which is limited by the terrain, has insufficient expansion space, and is in the "dilemma" of demolition, demolition and supplementation all year round, and the proportion of the masses going out for medical treatment is relatively high, resulting in the inconvenience of medical treatment for patients in mountainous areas, while also increasing the burden of medical expenses. In order to improve the medical conditions of the people in the county, we have launched a new construction of the county people's hospital in a different place, and the planning plan and feasibility study report have been completed.
