The immortals stroked my top and gave me eternal life

Everyone knows that Li Bai is a great poet, in fact, he has been a "cultivator" since he was a child, he once shiyun "lives in Ziyun Mountain, the Taoist wind has not fallen"; Li Bai has often gone to Dai Tianshan to ask questions since he was a teenager, so he wrote a poem "Visiting Dai Tianshan Daoists Do Not Meet"; in the fourth part of "Feeling Happy", he said that "fifteen immortals, immortals have never stopped", at the age of fifteen he began to look for immortals to visit the Tao; at the age of twenty, he was subjected to the immortal charm, saying to himself, "Immortals touch my top, tie my hair and receive eternal life"; after the age of twenty-five, sima Chengzhen said that he had" The Immortal Wind Dao Bone can be used with the Eight Poles of the Divine Tour. After hearing this, Li Bai wrote "Dapeng Fu". His "Lushan Rumors Sending Lu Shi Yu Yu Xuan Zhou" said that "the Five Peaks do not quit to seek immortals, and they are good to enter the famous mountain tour in their lifetime", and they visit the Xianshan Mountains for a lifetime. During the three years before Tianbao left Chang'an and joined the army during the Anshi Rebellion, the theme of Li Bai's life was monasticism. He wrote the teaching classics, "Three Thousand Days of Qing Fasting, And The CrackEd Essence Wrote the Scriptures" (Li Bai's "You Taishan" Part IV); insisted on cultivation, "Yu tasted the Tao of Poverty, and often traveled to the Immortal Mountains in his dreams" (Li Bai's "Returning to the Former Residence of Shimen on the Lower Road"),taking Dan Medicine, "Wishing to Eat Golden Light Grass, Shou and Heaven Falling Together" (Li Bai's "Ancient Winds" Seven); on the way to exile, he also insisted on monasticism, "Three Years of Night Lang, Yu Zi Refining Golden Bones" (Li Bai's "Remembering qiupu peach blossom old travel time wandering night lang").

The Song Dynasty Ge Lifang's "Rhymes and YangQiu" says that "Li Taibai's ancient style has two volumes, nearly seventy articles, and he wants to be a god and immortal, and he is thirteen or fourteen", which means that three-tenths and four of Li Bai's ancient poems are written about monastic cultivation and immortality.

Li Bai came into contact with Taoism for three reasons:

1. The relationship of the times

In the Tang Dynasty, learning taoism and seeking immortality could really be famous. Because the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty honored Lao Tzu as his ancestor, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang ordered that every family should have the book Lao Tzu. Therefore, Taoists are very fashionable, Taoists are also very famous, and many clans have become monks to learn the Tao.

2. Living environment

Shuzhong, where Li Bai lived, was the place where Taoism flourished. In his poem "Title Song Mountain Yiren Yuan Danqiu Mountain Residence" to his Taoist friend Yuan Danqiu, he said that "the family is ziyun mountain, the Taoist wind has not fallen", that is, the Ziyun Mountain in Mianzhou (in present-day Jiangyou, Sichuan) where he lived when he was a child was a famous Taoist mountain, and the Taoist atmosphere in his hometown was rich. (The familiar Li Bai's "Will Enter the Wine" was written by Li Bai in the place where he lived in seclusion on the Song Mountain of Yuandanqiu.) )

3. Curve into the world

Ordinary people must pass the imperial examination. Ancient readers generally shut themselves in their study and read hard. "Ten years of cold window bitterness", and then go to the entrance examination, one year can not pass the examination for ten years, like wei Zhuang in the late Tang Dynasty, at the age of fifty-nine, he was admitted to the jinshi.

Li Bai disdained that. He believed that with his genius, there was no need to go to the entrance examination. His method is to learn the Tao and seek immortality and travel the world. He felt that it was really easy for him to gain the admiration and appointment of the monarch, and Li Bai met the monastic Princess Yuzhen through the Taoist priest Sima Chengzhen, and he also knew a very famous Taoist monk named Wu Jun. These people praised Li Bai in front of Tang Xuanzong, so Tang Xuanzong summoned him.

It is said that when summoned, the Son of Heaven "descended to greet him" and "gave food to the Bed of the Seven Treasures, and the Imperial Hand spooned the soup with rice", and then he made the Hanlin Waiting Commandment. Hanlin is the emperor's royal secretary, and the emperor needs to write something at any time and ask him to write it.

Influenced by Taoism, Li Bai's poetry is full of bold imagination and bizarre exaggeration, often surprising and repetitive, and some of his works have obvious immortal overtones. But it is not so much that the immortals are seeking the Tao, but rather to find themselves, because the person who seeks the Immortals is not someone else, it is himself.
