On April 24, 2024, the commemorative exchange meeting for the publication of the new work "Li Bai: His Poetry and Life" by the Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan, Kaieda, was held at the Multicultural Center in Roppongi, Tokyo. First of all, I would like to express my admiration for Hai Jiangtian's thousands of miles and busy schedule, and in four years, he created three books: "Su Shi - His Poetry and Life", "Tao Yuanming - His Poetry and Life", and "Li Bai - His Poetry and Life". This is a very remarkable thing and a great contribution to the cultural exchange between China and Japan. Wang Xianen said that the map related to Li Bai in the new book made him feel the strength of the Tang Dynasty. And the process of reading the new book is also very interesting, for example, the book says that Du Fu is very concerned about his family, while Li Bai does not care about his family, only stayed with the fourth wife Cao for a long time, and finally left Cao in Lushan, and went to the current Anhui and Jiangsu areas, and finally died of illness in Anhui as Tu. "The new book will raise young people's interest in learning Chinese poetry, and I look forward to everyone going to Anhui with Mr. Wan Li to sweep Li Bai's tomb at a convenient time. ”

In his speech, Hai Jiangtian thanked the institutions and individuals who contributed to the publication of "Li Bai: His Poetry and Life". In addition, he also introduced the cover design of the new book and the reason for the title of the book. Among them, the cover of the book uses the late famous paper-cutting artist Masayuki Miyata's work "White Emperor Castle". According to Haieda Wanli, the title of Tao Yuanming's book was originally written by himself, but later he met Wang Zhongming, a relative of Mr. Wang Xian'en's clan and calligrapher, in Tokyo, and asked him to inscribe the title. In addition, Wang Zhongming was also asked to inscribe "Gift to Wang Lun". "The peach blossoms are thousands of feet deep, not as deep as Wang Lun to send me love." The poems are sincere and natural. Wang Lun once retired after being a magistrate, but he was a friend of Li Bai, so he was praised through the ages along with the verses, which is really an elegant matter.
Haijiang Tian Wanli said that Li Bai's disregard for his family is a manifestation of "Ren Xia". Having the world in mind and not being able to have children in love was the requirement for a manly husband at that time. "I've been instilled with such thoughts since I was a child, and when I was young, I saw the girl I wanted and pretended to be nothing, I didn't dare to confess, and I introduced it to others, and now it seems to be a loss. The audience laughed.
Then, Hai Jiangtian Wanli gave an overview of Li Bai's life trajectory and explained the three major themes of Li Bai's poems, namely travel, drinking and the moon. Haijiang Tian Wanli talked about the environment in which Li Bai lived in Bashu from the well-known mapo tofu in Japan, from the well-known story of Yang Guifei to the background of Li Bai's prosperous Tang Dynasty, and then analyzed Li Bai's mood and emotions in a specific political environment through Li Bai's well-known poems. It's easy and fun.
