Today (October 25), the Chengdu Marathon Organizing Committee issued an announcement announcing that the 2021 Chengdu Marathon, which was scheduled for October 31, will be postponed to November 28.
In the announcement, the Chengma Organizing Committee first thanked all runners for their long-term attention and support for Chengma in the past five years. Subsequently, he said that due to the recent local confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia in many parts of the country, in order to effectively protect the health and life safety of the people, the organizing committee decided to postpone the date of this year's Chengdu and Horse from October 31 to November 28.

According to the Red Star News reporter, all qualified runners who continue to participate in the competition must still meet the relevant participation requirements and epidemic prevention regulations in the 2021 Chengdu Marathon "Competition Regulations" and "Registration Instructions". Runners who are unable to change their itinerary due to the postponement of the event can log on to the official website of the event or the Maramara App Personal Center before 22:00 on October 31 to apply for a refund. The registration fee will be refunded within 7-10 working days, and the organizing committee will retain the qualification of the runners until the 2022 Chengdu Marathon.
