Live Bar Jan. 19 – Today, Warriors player Draymond Green talked about Klay's comeback debut on his podcast. Green had a sore calf before Clay's comeback, but he made a symbolic start because of Clay, playing for 7 seconds before voluntarily fouling him.
"When I walked up the pitch that day, I threw a couple of balls and then I didn't feel right. Then they told me I definitely couldn't play this time, and that made me cry. I cried because for two and a half years I couldn't play with Kudo, there was love and passion between us. I can't say I'm excited about Clay's comeback because no one is more excited than he is, he's been through therapy, the recovery and all the psychological struggles, I haven't gone through those struggles, so I can't say I'm more excited than he was. I cried when I knew I couldn't play because I wanted to share that moment with him. ”
