From September 21st to October 19th, our family drove the GAC Aehan Y pure electric car and embarked on a challenging long-distance self-driving panoramic tour.
The self-driving tour is divided into three stages, from Beijing to Xi'an from September 21 to 27, from September 27 to October 11 in Xi'an, and from October 12 to 19 from Xi'an to Dali.
The trip traveled through 8 provinces and cities of Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and Yunnan, covering more than 4,200 kilometers, or more than 8,000 miles. Except for a few urban roads, provincial roads, and county roads, they are basically highways.
The trip visited Datong Ancient City, Yungang Grottoes, Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, Pingyao Ancient City, Wangjia Courtyard, Revolutionary Holy Land Yan'an, Ancient City Xi'an, Wuhou Ancestral Temple Wuhou Tomb, Langzhong Ancient City, Chongqing Night View, Zunyi Conference Site, Huangguoshu Waterfall, Spring City Kunming and other scenic spots, tasted Shanxi noodles, Northern Shaanxi mutton, Xi'an lamb steamed buns, Hanzhong hot rice peel, Chongqing hot pot, Guizhou sour soup fish, Zunyi mutton powder, Yunnan rice noodles and other flavors, which made people nostalgic. At the same time, they experienced the unique charm of GAC Aean Y's ultra-long endurance SUV, and also personally inspected the electric vehicle charging facilities along the way.
Along the way, the wind and rain were mixed, and the sunny days were not a few days. It can be said that it is eight thousand miles of clouds and moons, and eight thousand miles of wind and rain.
The GAC AEG Y80 Yuexiang Technology Edition, which was just mentioned in Beijing on September 8, is a compact pure electric SUV. The body is 4410mm long, 1870mm wide, 1645mm high, with a wheelbase of 2750mm and a weight of 1750KG. First, electric vehicles can be competent for long-distance self-driving trips, which can be completely assured. Second, the charging facilities along the way can be guaranteed, and there is no need to worry about nowhere to charge. Third, the cost advantage of electric vehicle travel is very obvious. The whole journey is 4200 kilometers, and the charging cost less than 600 yuan, which is equivalent to 0.14 yuan per kilometer of electricity. The highway toll for this trip cost a total of 1660 yuan. Under normal circumstances, the fuel cost of the fuel vehicle is twice the toll.
For friends who drive electric vehicles for long-distance travel, there are a few tips to share:
First, try to travel at the wrong peak, and do not travel during peak hours in order to save tolls. Otherwise, you may encounter the embarrassment of queuing for hours to recharge.
The second is to do your homework before traveling and determine when and where to charge. DAY1: Crossing the Qinling Tunnel Shu Dao is no longer difficult

The difficulty of the Shu Dao is difficult to go to the Qingtian! Today, with the tunnel through the Qinling Mountains and the opening of the Xi'an-Shudi Expressway, the Shu Road is long gone.
At 8:30 a.m. on October 12, we drove the GAC Aean Y, which still has 96% electricity and a cruising range of 577 kilometers, from the Xi'an City District, and the odometer shows 2278 kilometers at the time of departure. Not far from Xi'an City, you will reach the foot of Qinling Mountain. The Qinling Tunnel has a total length of 103 km and 137 tunnels, including many tunnel groups, with a speed limit of 80 km. Pass through a Qinling Tunnel that is more than 6,000 meters long and reach the Qinling Service Area. There are many cars all the way, speed limits, and dense fog and light rain, and it takes only 95 kilometers in two hours, and the electricity consumption of 100 kilometers is 22.1 degrees.
Arrived in Hanzhong city at 1:30 noon, a total distance of 283 kilometers, power consumption of 46 degrees, 100 kilometers of electricity consumption of 16.2 degrees. The first 95 kilometers have more uphill slopes, and the electricity consumption of 100 kilometers is as high as 22.1 degrees. The second half of the downhill slope is more, and the electricity consumption of the first 55 kilometers is less than 8 degrees. Along the way, we inspected the three service areas of Qinling Service Area, Ningshan Service Area and Yangxian County, all of which have Guodian charging stations, each station has 4 charging piles, which are in good condition and are not occupied.
After eating the pepper and ma ma fish hot pot in Hanzhong City, it is already three o'clock in the afternoon. Drive an hour to the Wuhou Ancestral Hall in MianXian County, which is a national key cultural relics protection unit. Founded in 263 AD, the Wuhou Ancestral Hall in Mianxian County is the earliest Wuhou Ancestral Hall in the country, and it is also the only ancestral temple built by the emperor (later lord Liu Chan). Compared with the Wuhou Ancestral Hall in Chengdu, it has a long history, but it is smaller in scale. Due to the lateness of the time, the tomb of Wu Hou was too late to go, and he would go again early tomorrow morning.
Today is the first day of the "GAC Aian Y Shaanxi Chuan Yuqian Dian self-driving tour", driving 378 kilometers throughout the day, of which 258 kilometers are high-speed. A total of 57.6 degrees of electricity consumption, the average 100 kilometers of electricity consumption of 15.23 degrees, the performance is not bad.
The underground parking lot of a hotel near the Hanzhong high-speed rail station has a national power charging station and 20 fast charging piles. This charging station is only 500 meters away from the staying wine. After more than an hour of charging, the power increased from 21% to 95%, and the cruising range was 569 kilometers. 72.52 yuan was charged with 61.58 kWh of electricity, each kWh of 1.18 yuan.
DAY2: Langzhong Ancient City Illuminated
After breakfast, I first went to visit the tomb of Wuhou, which is also a national key cultural relics protection unit. Located in the wuhou Zhuge Liang tomb area under Dingjun Mountain in Mian County, covering an area of 360 acres, there are more than 70 ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing dynasties, more than 40 thousand-year-old cypress trees, including 22 trees of more than 1700 years old, and two thousand-year-old osmanthus trees.
Arrive in Langzhong in the evening, settle down and visit the ancient city of Langzhong at night! The old city is brightly lit and very lively. Langzhong is the hometown of Zhang Fei, the General of the Three Kingdoms of Shu, and there is a Han Heng Ancestral Hall in the ancient city, which is the ancestral hall of Zhang Fei! Along the way, there are many local relics of the Shu and Han Dynasties of the Three Kingdoms, in addition to the Wuhou Ancestral Hall, the Wuhou Tomb, the Zhang Fei Temple, and the Liuba Zhangliang Temple and so on.
Today is the second day of the [GAC Aian Y Shaanxi Chuan Yuqian dian self-driving tour], driving 327 kilometers throughout the day, about 300 kilometers is a highway, power consumption of nearly 50 degrees, 100 kilometers of 15.2 electricity consumption. Especially in the last 202 kilometers, the electricity consumption of 100 kilometers is only 13.8 degrees. This also has a lot to do with going downhill all the way!
At night, A national electricity charging station was found in Lang, with four fast charging guns. It took 46 minutes to make up the power from 56% to 95%, and it cost 50 yuan, 1.55 yuan per kWh! A bit of an expensive one.
DAY3: The toughest on-charge experience
Today is the third day of the [GAC Aian Y Shaanxi Chuan YuQiandian Self-driving Tour]. At 8:40 a.m., bid farewell to the ancient city of Langzhong and target Chongqing City.
Arriving in Chongqing at nearly one o'clock in the afternoon, there is still 37% of electricity and 221 kilometers of cruising range. Eat Chongqing hot pot at a hot pot restaurant near your residence. It was hearty, and four people spent 340 yuan.
There is still 37% electricity to reach the Chongqing station, and it can last 221 kilometers. At night, I decided to charge my car in Chongqing. Who knew that after finding a fourth charging station in a row, it was charged, and it was enough to choke. The closest visitor from Gaode Map is the Special Call Charging Station in Guobo Center, 1.8 km from the hotel. Braving the light rain, I drove to the Guobo Center and found a row of charging piles, but none of them were activated. Helpless, drive to a national electricity charging station 9 kilometers away, 8 charging piles 3 can not be used, the charging current is only 22 amperes, the speed is too slow, charged for a while had to give up. There is a charging station in the search garden expo park, driving to the destination, but did not find it. Drive another 5 kilometers to find a Chongqing Yuehua charging station in the Parking Lot of Baolin Museum, there are a total of 10 charging piles, and the current is also very large. It took 1 hour and 9 minutes to increase the power from 33% to 96%, charged 54.13 kWh, and spent 56.29 yuan. 1.04 yuan per kWh of electricity. It seems that Chongqing's charging facilities and services still need to be improved. Today, it travels 279 kilometers a day, consumes 47.2 degrees of electricity, and consumes an average of 16.9 degrees per 100 kilometers.
DAY4: Roaming the streets of Chongqing in the rain
Today is the fourth day of the [GAC Aian Y Shaanxi Chuan Yuqian Dian self-driving tour], I attended the automobile supply chain conference at the Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center throughout the day, and my family drove to Chongqing city for tourism.
DAY5: The Zunyi meeting site will not be allowed to enter
Today is the 5th day of the [GAC Aian Y Shaanxi Chuan Yuqian Dian self-driving tour]. Depart from the Wyndham Chongqing Yuelai Hotel at 9:30 am and aim for Zunyi, Guizhou. It has 84% electricity on departure and a cruising range of 503 km. Braving the light rain to take the Baomao Expressway around the city through Chongqing, driving 133 kilometers to reach the water parking area, with a power consumption of 16.5 degrees per 100 kilometers. At this point, there is still 54% of the charge. There is a national electricity charging station in the catch-up parking area, and there are 4 fast charging piles. Make up some more electricity here. 11:00 to 18:00 is a blackout period, 0.9 yuan per kWh. At the same time, there is also a Xiaopeng electric vehicle and a Dongfeng Scenery electric vehicle. Charging stands with a sign that tells you that you are 59 kilometers away from the next service area charging station! Very personal.
Taste the Kaili sour soup fish in Zunyi Tongzi County at noon, and arrive in Zunyi City at about 4 p.m. After parking the car and arriving at the Zunyi conference site, it was 4:45 p.m., and the doorman said that the entrance to the museum would stop at 4:30. After saying good things for half a day, I didn't let me in, so I had no choice but to take a few photos outside the meeting site.
Driving 266 kilometers a day, the power consumption is 45.5 degrees, and the power consumption of 100 kilometers is 17.1 degrees! There is still 66% of the electricity left in Zunyi, and the endurance is 394 kilometers. Tomorrow's destination is Huangguoshu Waterfall, a journey of 265 kilometers. Enough power! DAY6: Huangguoshu Waterfall When the world is shocked Today is the 6th day of the [GAC Aian Y Shaanxi Chuanyu Qiandian Self-driving Tour], leaving Zunyi at 8:36 am to go to Huangguoshu Waterfall. There is 66% electricity on departure, and there are many uphill roads along the way, which is particularly power-hungry. After walking 103 kilometers to reach the long service area, there is still 40% of the electricity left, and the power consumption of 100 kilometers is 19.5 degrees. There are 6 star charging piles in the service area, make up some electricity here and then go!
Although affected by the epidemic, there are still many people visiting Huangguoshu Waterfall, basically from all over the country.
The last time I visited Huangguoshu Waterfall was more than 30 years ago, and I still look at it again and I am still very shocked. It is true that this scene should only be in the sky, falling into the mountains of Guizhou. Compared with the last time, this visit to the yellow fruit tree, the commercial atmosphere is too strong.
Today's total distance is 264 kilometers, and the electricity consumption of 100 kilometers is a little more than 17 degrees. On the way, power is replenished in two service areas. There is also 82% charge to reach the destination.
DAY7: Finally saw the blue sky and white clouds
Today is the 7th day of the [GAC Aian Y Shaanxi Chuan Yuqian Dian self-driving tour]. Leave Huangguoshu Waterfall at 9:00 a.m. and target Kunming City, a total distance of nearly 400 kilometers. Just after leaving the place of residence and driving into the highway, I encountered heavy fog and poor visibility. Until fifty or sixty kilometers out, the sun came out, and finally saw the blue sky and white clouds, which was a rare good weather on this trip.
After driving for more than two hours to reach the Qujingdong service area, the electricity dropped from 82% to 26%. 227 kilometers actually consume 56% of electricity, and 100 kilometers consume 18.5 degrees.
QuJingdong has four charging piles, all three of which are broken. The only intact one that can charge both cars at the same time!
Today is the day with the most miles on the trip. High-speed kilometers plus high altitude, more power consumption, halfway in the Qujingdong service area can not get some electricity. The hotel arriving in Kunming still has 48% electricity. It travels 382 kilometers throughout the day, consumes 67.4 degrees of electricity, and averages 17.6 degrees per 100 kilometers.
DAY8: Heading to the destination of Dali

Along the way, the white clouds fluttered, and the air was refreshing and warm as spring.
