Seeing this scene, the villagers could no longer bear the suppressed anger, and one by one they rushed to the Japanese puppet army, because the number of the Japanese puppet army was small and they were close to the villagers, the Japanese puppet army could no longer resist the angry villagers, so they had to sneak back to the stronghold.
The villagers quickly planed Chen Jieying out, because it was not buried for a long time, it was frozen soil, there was a gap in the middle, and she still had a trace of breath. The villagers carried her back to the village, and after rescue, she woke up again.
In July 1944, when Chen Jieying, who had recovered from her injuries, heard that most of the Eighth Route Army had come to her hometown and was stationed in Beishan, she excitedly found Wang Ke, a cadre of the Eighth Route Army, told her tragic experience, and asked to join the soldiers of the Eighth Route Army to avenge her relatives and dead villagers. Ms. Wang granted her request, and four months later, she was approved to join the Chinese Communist Party.
She was praised by the people as "the first female eighth road in our Pinggu County". In May 1945, he was named "Combat Hero" by the 14th Military Subdistrict of Jidong. He died in 2007. Her story of the War of Resistance was passed down.
