After the release of the Hongmeng system, Huawei has maintained a high frequency of updates, and the discussion heat remains high. According to Yu Chengdong, the Hongmeng system has landed in the mobile phone market for only half a year, and has gained 220 million users, becoming the world's third largest operating system, and the results are really eye-catching.
Of course, the fundamental reason why Hongmeng can get so many consumers love is that the Hongmeng system is good enough.
Hongmeng is built based on a new microkernel and is inherently better than Android in many ways. For example, because Hongmeng OS is smaller, the application runs and switches smoother than the Android system.
Another example is the collaborative function, Hongmeng is based on the design of distributed architecture, a set of systems can be used in many products, tablets, TVs, computers, and even automobiles, home appliances, can be based on the distributed architecture to achieve interconnection, which greatly enhances the competitiveness of Hongmeng in the era of the Internet of Things.
However, with the increase in the number of users of the Hongmeng system, the small problems hidden in the Hongmeng system began to be exposed.
During this time, many Huawei mobile phone users reported on the consumer complaint platform that after the mobile phone was upgraded to Hongmeng, the motherboard failed. In this regard, the solution given by Huawei is to require users to pay for the replacement of the motherboard.
Huawei is not shirking responsibility, after all, there is no evidence to clearly indicate that the motherboard damage is related to the Hongmeng system. Moreover, many mobile phones with damaged motherboards have passed the warranty period, and It is reasonable for Huawei to refuse to sell after sales.
So, is it possible to upgrade Hongmeng to damage the motherboard? The author believes that the possibility exists and can be divided into two situations:
The first situation is that when the official upgrade of the large version of the Hongmeng system, the mobile phone adaptation work was not done, resulting in the processor heating up and burning out the motherboard.
The main performance is that Huawei's old flagship silicone grease is aging, and the heat shedding leads to the virtual welding of the processor, which is why the new flagship has not appeared this problem.
The second situation is that there is a BUG in the Hongmeng system, and after the mobile phone upgrade, the user operation triggers the BUG, resulting in frequent restarts of the mobile phone and damage to the motherboard.
As we all know, the essence of the mobile phone shutdown, restart is actually the mobile phone motherboard discharge, charging process, if the charge and discharge is too frequent, then the components on the motherboard will be damaged, there is no possibility of repair.
Moreover, considering that the number of users reflecting this problem is only a dime compared to the total number of Huawei mobile phone users, There is no need for Huawei to specifically explain or respond to this problem.
It is worth mentioning that there have been similar problems in Huawei mobile phones before, and in early 2020, many Huawei mobile phone users complained about Huawei terminals, saying: Mobile phones are frequently restarted and crash.
However, at that time, Huawei quickly found the cause of the problem and corrected it. In contrast, the solution given by Huawei this time is indeed difficult to satisfy users.
At present, many mobile phones have the pollen of this problem, still waiting for Huawei to give a reasonable explanation.
However, in the author's opinion, Huawei's official attitude has shown that there will be no follow-up to this incident. Under the background of Huawei's gradual reduction of attention to the mobile phone business, users who damaged the motherboard because of upgrading the Hongmeng system can only eat dumb losses.
If it were you, what solution would you look for?
