Xinhua News Agency, Kunming, May 1 (Reporter Lin Bifeng) The 2021 Wumeng Mountain Supercross race kicked off on May 1 in Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, and more than 120 runners from all over the country will participate in the longest 500 kilometers and the shortest 330 kilometers respectively, starting their own "Long March" trail running journey.

Zhaotong City is located in the hinterland of Wumeng Mountain. According to the organizing committee of the event, the event has a total of three categories: 100 miles of single riding (500 kilometers), 900 miles of limit (450 kilometers), and 660 miles of supercross (330 kilometers), and the designated completion time is 200 hours, 180 hours and 150 hours respectively, and the participants need to reach the finish line within the specified time according to the route of each group.
The route of the event runs through the main battlefield of the Red Army's "Wumeng Mountain Roundabout", crossing the alpine meadow, the Grand Canyon of the Luoze River, ethnic minority villages, and the border line of the three provinces of Yunguichuan.
