On January 17, the reporter learned from the Press and Publication Management Office of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee that the State Press and Publication Administration recently announced the "Special Plan for the Publication of National Key Books, Audio-visual and Electronic Publications in the 14th Five-Year Plan Period", and 10 projects in our province were successfully selected. The number of selected projects ranks among the best among similar local publishing houses in the country, and the first selected projects have achieved a breakthrough of doubling compared with the same period of the "13th Five-Year Plan".
The special plan for the publication of national key publications in the "14th Five-Year Plan" period consists of 11 sub-plans in two major parts: books and audio-visual electronic publications. For the first time, 1753 book planning projects and 176 audio-visual electronic projects were selected, representing the highest level in China's publishing field, and the selected projects will be included in the key scope of publishing funding such as the National Publishing Fund.
The contents of the selected projects in our province cover the three sub-items of literary and artistic originality, ethnic characters, social sciences and humanities of the book publishing plan, and the publishing plan of audio-visual products. Qinghai Nationalities Publishing House's "Chinese Tibetan Contemporary Literature Fine Translation Series (Tibetan to Chinese)", Qinghai People's Publishing House's "Coco Xili" selected as the original publishing plan for literature and art; Qinghai Nationalities Publishing House's "Communist Manifesto" (Tibetan-Chinese comparison), Qinghai People's Publishing House's "Tibetan Classic Fable Novel Series" (Sino-Tibetan comparison), "Plateau Spirit Science Popularization Series" (Sino-Tibetan comparison) were selected for the publication plan of ethnic characters; Qinghai Nationalities Publishing House's "Draft History of The History of Xiangxiong Civilization", Qinghai People's Publishing House "Qinghai General History" (multi-volume), "Qinghai General History" (multi-volume), " The History of Sino-Tibetan Cultural Exchanges and the Gesar Epic Concise Reader Series (The First Series) were selected for the publication plan of social sciences and humanities; the Qinghai Kunlun Audio-visual Publishing House's "Stories of Chinese Virtues" (in Tibetan) was selected for the publication plan of audio-visual products.
The successful selection of 10 projects is an important achievement of the publishing industry in our province to focus on the center and serve the overall situation, and adhere to the road of high-quality development. In the next step, the Press and Publication Management Office of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee will guide the publishing units to complete the publishing tasks of the planned projects with high quality. At the same time, we will further strengthen overall guidance, focus on red resources, green ecological elements and colorful themes of national unity and progress, continue to increase the planning of publishing projects, form a publishing pattern of planning a batch, a batch of reserves, and a batch of publications, do bright theme publishing, strengthen characteristic publishing, and promote the high-quality development of publishing in our province to a new level.
