After this OTA remote upgrade, the Buick eCruise Pro intelligent auxiliary driving system equipped with some models of Buick GL8 Aivia and GL8 ES Luzun has been upgraded again, and on the basis of more than 20 driving assistance functions such as lane center intelligent cruise, traffic congestion assistance, steering wheel off-hand detection, and door opening safety warning, the ILC driver command lane change function has been added. When the vehicle opens the LCC lane center intelligent cruise system and the speed is higher than 40 kilometers per hour, it can change to the corresponding adjacent lane under the clear road conditions of the target lane line by flicking the steering lever.
The ILC driver-directed lane change function makes the travel experience safer and more convenient
During the instruction lane change process, if the scene is not suitable for safe lane change, this function will try to change lanes for a certain period of time, until the scene suitable for lane change appears before performing the lane change. If the appropriate scene does not appear within a certain period of time, the vehicle will stop the command lane change function and continue to drive in this lane, while prompting the user through the markings on the dashboard. The arrival of the ILC driver command lane change function expands the application scenario of Buick's full-speed domain assisted driving, making the user's travel safer and more convenient.
