The side curve of the body also continues the EVOS's concave and convex waistline design, and the roof also uses a slip-on design. In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4935/1875/1500mm, and the wheelbase has reached the same as the EVOS of 2945mm, which is very close to the size of the C-class car.
The design of the rear is more restrained than that of EVOS, the through-line taillights are more narrow and long, and the two-color taillights with 3D elements are more designed. The small black tail and the exaggerated diffuser shape under the bumper make the sporty atmosphere of the rear of the car quite sufficient.
In terms of interior, the new generation of Mondeo is expected to adopt the same interior design as EVOS. The new car will adopt a minimalist design, the central control panel basically can not see any physical buttons, mainly by a huge screen with a width of more than 1.1 meters to replace, the screen extends to the co-driver position, and is composed of a 12.3-inch LCD instrument and a 27-inch 4K high-definition central control screen.
In terms of power, the new car is expected to be equipped with the same powertrain as the EVOS, with a maximum power of 175 kW of the 2.0T EcoBoost four-cylinder engine and a peak torque of 376N·m, which is matched by an 8-speed manual transmission.
