According to NBA reporter Michael Scotto, sources revealed that Spurs guard Forbes has been put on the shelf by the team, and many teams, including the Nuggets, are interested in it.
The Forbes trade departure reportedly would give Primo more playing time.
Forbes' contract expires at the end of the season, and he's on $4.5 million this season.
So far this season, Forbes has played in 40 games for the Spurs, averaging 16.9 minutes per game, 9.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1 assist, and shooting 41.7% from three-point range.
