From scratch, Haier Kaos led the adoption of the first international standard for intelligent manufacturing models

Although Germany proposed "Industry 4.0", its main connotation is intelligent manufacturing based on the Internet of Things and information technology to quickly adapt to the production needs of small batches of personalized production; and Japan proposed 6 key technologies that must be completely overcome, including "a new generation of intelligent manufacturing system technology that supports mass customization".

Recently, the ISO 24644 international standard for mass customization value chain management, led by The Chinese industrial Internet platform Haier Kaos COSMOPlat, passed the committee draft stage (CD) vote with a 72.7% approval rate, and will soon enter the consultation stage (DIS).

The successful passage of this standard through the CD vote means that Chinese enterprises represent the future advanced manufacturing industry, promote the confidence of the country's "manufacturing power", and represent the "Chinese standard" to the world.

For Chinese enterprises, formulating standards not only means that they can actively implement and standardize the development path of intelligent manufacturing, but also enhance the international reputation and influence of enterprises, win the international discourse power of the industry, and promote high-quality development under the double cycle.

From the establishment of the research group SG in May 2018, to the upgrade to the ISO official standards working group WG in June 2019, to the successful approval of the standard proposal stage (NP) vote in October 2019, the team behind Helkaos has paid a lot of sweat.

After in-depth discussion by ISO-related experts, the standard successfully entered the draft stage (CD) of the committee. Subsequently, in order to win votes, Helkaos COSMOPlat actively mediated with expert teams from various countries to introduce the value and significance of standards from the perspective of creating a win-win situation, and finally won important votes from India, France and other countries before the voting period.

Prior to this, Hale Kaos COSMOPlat has been invited to officially join the European Federal Cloud (Gaia-X), becoming the first Chinese industrial Internet platform outside the EUROPEAN Union to integrate the platform architecture into European data and cloud sovereignty, and will work with the core members of the Gaia-X project to develop a GAIA-MCM certification standard based on a mass customization model to empower German Industry 4.0.

While leading the formulation of international standards, CAOS COSMOPlat has created an ecological empowerment model of "co-construction with large enterprises and sharing with small enterprises", copying the successful experience of the platform and the ability of enterprises to 15 industries such as chemical industry and mold, and replicating and promoting it in 20 countries around the world, truly walking out of an industrial Internet road with Chinese characteristics.

"Chinese standards" to the world, is a key step to promote China's "manufacturing power", but also an important step in the development of China's industrial Internet, to this end, Hailkaos will continue to contribute.
