Newcastle solved a conundrum for Pochettino with the purchase of Paris Saint-Germain's 35-year-old goalkeeper Navas

According to foreign media reports, Newcastle United in the Premier League is seeking to buy Paris Saint-Germain's main goalkeeper Navas.

In the summer of 2019, Navas moved to Paris Saint-Germain with the halo of three Champions League titles and one La Liga title.

Today, the Costa Rican goalkeeper is 35 years old. He has made 97 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain to date and remains the main goalkeeper of the Ligue 1 supremacy team.

However, last summer, Paris Saint-Germain signed former AC Milan goalkeeper Donalumma for free, posing a threat to Navas' main position.

At the beginning of the season, from Paris Saint-Germain, Donnarumma complained about the discordant reports of the low number of appearances. This bothered the team's manager, Maison Pochettino.

Pochettino is currently only solving the problem through limited rotation.

The Newcastle club have been linked to Paris Saint-Germain to express a desire to sign veteran Navas.

However, Paris Saint-Germain, who is not short of money, does not intend to sell Navas in January and is willing to keep the players until the end of the season.

In this case, it is not known how Newcastle will be able to persuade paris Saint-Germain executives to sell Navas.

After all, this is a club that real Madrid has been rumored to have asked for 200 million euros to buy Mbappe, but it can't impress.

Newcastle are looking to sign a new main goalkeeper in the winter window, with the Magpies also interested in Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in addition to Navas.
