According to The Italian football market Milan correspondent Longo, Milan are ready to bring in Botman and Bremer in the backline.

Milan had to change their winter window transfer plans again due to Tomori's injury, and they were ready to make important reinforcements to the defence in January, with Lille's Botman and Turin's Bremer both targeting.

There was recent news that Milan were preparing to bring in a new defender on loan in the winter window as a replacement for Kyal, but that has changed. As part of the Pellegri deal negotiations, Milan has already begun negotiations with Torino Bremer.

Signing Botman is more difficult, but Milan plan to try to sign him right away. Whether it's signing Both Botman and Bremer is a bit of a challenge, but Milan are willing to try this month.

In addition, according to the Belgian media HCN, AC Milan intends to introduce Bologna centre-back Tate. Tate was Milan's reinforcement target, and the Rossoneri had already made contact with each other. Completing the transfer in January will be complicated, though, as the player is now on loan to Bologna, which will demand €20 million.
