A must-have before you go
1. Go to Kailash, it is recommended to take anti-hypoxia and anti-cold drugs 7-10 days in advance to alleviate high reflex, dizziness and other physical discomfort;
2. Kailash has strong ultraviolet rays, and it is necessary to prepare long clothes and trousers, sunscreen, sunhats, sunglasses, masks, etc.; if you want to turn the mountain, you also need to prepare hiking poles, hiking boots or professional travel shoes;

About traffic
1. From Lhasa Gonggar Airport to Ali Kunsha Airport by plane, the general situation is more than 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., more than 10:00 a.m.; the fare is 2500+; Kunsha Airport is about 300 kilometers away from Puran County, and can be chartered;
At 4,270 meters above sea level, Ali Kunsha Airport is about 700 meters above sea level, so it is recommended to rest in place on the Shiquan River or head to Puran County.
2. You can take the shuttle bus from lhasa north suburb bus station to Alipuran County;
3. Chartered, carpool or self-driving. The driving distance is about 1220 kilometers, although the road is long, it is conducive to alleviating high reflex, and the scenery along the way is absolutely large;

About turning the mountain
From April 10 to October 10 every year, it is the season when Kailash turns the mountains, and the best time is from August to September.
Kailash Turning Mountain is divided into outer circle turning mountain and inner circle turning mountain, because the inner circle turning mountain is only open to Bon believers, so tourists generally take the outer circle to turn the mountain.

Ta chin is the starting point of the mountain, and on the first day of hiking 20 kilometers to reach the zhizhi temple at an altitude of 5080 meters;
The next day passes through the Dolmala Pass at an altitude of 5648 meters, which is the highest point in the process of turning the mountain, and then the altitude gradually drops to reach Zuchu Temple, a distance of 24 kilometers;
On the third day, it is about 10 kilometers on foot from Zuchu Temple back to Tachin, which takes about 4 hours.
