According to Tim Mac Mahon, with Porzingis terminating his health and safety agreement today, Lone Ranger 10 contract player Chris will be placed on the team's inactive list.
Chris' second 10-day contract expires on January 21, during which time he will remain in the squad.
Tim MacMahon said Chris' performance in two 10-day contracts was enough to free up a lineup spot for the Mavericks to keep him. According to previous reports, the Lone Ranger is exploring ways to keep Chris in the team.
So far this season, Chris has played 12 games for the Lone Ranger, averaging 11.8 minutes per game, 6.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, shooting 63 percent from the field and 46.2 percent from three-point range (1.1 shots per game).
