Chelsea official: Lewis Baker joins Stoke City to end a 17-year Blues career

Chelsea officially announced that 26-year-old midfielder Lewis Baker has joined Stoke City, the player who has played twice for the team to end his 17-year Blues career.

Born in April 1995, Lewis Baker entered the Chelsea academy at the age of 9 and made his Chelsea first-team debut in the FA Cup in 2013-14, but the midfielder did not establish himself at Chelsea, and since 2014 he has been loaned out to Sheffield Wednesday, Milton Keynes, Vites, Middlesbrough, Leeds United, Reading, Düsseldorf and Trabzon Sport, returning to Chelsea last summer.

Lewis Baker played for Chelsea's first team for the second time this season in the FA Cup against ChesterField, his last game for the Blues. Chelsea officials officially announced today that Lewis Baker will be permanently transferred to Stoke City, and the Blues officials also wish the midfielder good luck in the future.
