His works have been published around the world in 62 languages. Representative works include: "James and the Big Fairy Peach", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "The Giant with Good Eyes", "The Witch", "The Great Fox Daddy", "Matilda" and so on.

Main contents:

The book tells the story of the fox father who went out to steal a few chickens for the survival of the family, but caused disaster. Three breeders trapped the fox family underground by digging a mountain and besieging it, implicated other animals living on the mountain. In order to survive, the fox father had to work with his children and Mr. Badger to dig an underground passage to the three breeding grounds, which finally lifted the existential crisis.

The book is thin, with only 103 sides, and the storyline is simple, especially suitable for children who are just beginning to read children's novels. Children read this book in the second semester of first grade, when they had just transitioned from bridge books to children's novels. In order for him to finish the book smoothly, I also marked the book with words that he might not recognize.

Recommended for:

In traditional stories, foxes are often the opposite of cunning, but here they become vulnerable. In the process of fleeing, the various performances of the fox father make people respect him. Children in the lower grades especially like this heroic character image, and when reading such a story, they can't help but put themselves into the story and overcome the difficulties with the fox father.

The rhythm of this story is still relatively strong, and the storyline is interlocked, which can attract children to continue reading. For the lower grades, especially for children who are just starting to read, the books that can attract them to read are rare good books.
