LEGO officials have responded to fan requests for LEGO to launch new sets based on the first and second wizarding worlds of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Since its return in 2018, harry potter themes have introduced a number of sets from the harry potter and half-blood princes and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows series, which means that these two films are the least set magic stories.
The first year of THE LEGO Harry Potter sets focused on Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the second year turned to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, while last year brought us a Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix set and the only two Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince sets, the 75969 Hogwarts Astronomical Tower and the 75980 Burrow Attack.
That makes most of us think lego will eventually offer sets based on two Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows movies in 2021. "In the first few years of the reboot, we had a clear strategy of focusing on the first few films and then moving on harry potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," Marcos explained, "For 2021, we have a blank slate and have to look back at what we can do to keep the IP fresh." ”

The answer is — at least according to Marcos , the audience for these films, to some extent also includes Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince , is more "old", than the target audience the company would expect in the Harry Potter series.
"It's definitely not that we're not going to launch the next films at some point, but they do tend to target higher ages, which is why we're targeting the first few films," he said. Our overall values are more in line with the first film, where there is more magic, and the conventional themes of the school of magic are more in line with our values. ”
That's bad news for Harry Potter fans who feel that 2022 will bring us harry potter and the Deathly Hallows set, but Marcos does offer a glimmer of hope: "I definitely think we're creative enough to do something sneaky here and there, so who can say what the future holds?" ”
