In the shape of the "Tiger King", Dai Dunbang uses the smooth line of the Chinese brushwork to skillfully combine the tiger shape with the classic characters, posing the action of the sword finger, the momentum of the Tiger King is spontaneous, the pen and ink are strong and bold, the courage is grand, and the image is vivid and vivid. Behind his painting style, Dai Dunbang inherits the artistic traditions of Chen Hongshou in the Ming Dynasty, Ren Bonian in the Qing Dynasty, and constantly draws on the nourishment of folk art and Dunhuang art to form a distinctive "Dai family style".

In this exhibition, dai Dunbang, a chinese master of arts and crafts, and Cao Yishan, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Jingdezhen, jointly created the treasure house of ceramic painted sculpture "Tiger King" also met with the audience.

The creation of the ceramic painted sculpture "Tiger King" took half a year. At the beginning of the design for "Tiger King", Dai Dunbang reminded on the manuscript: "Please pay attention to the details, this is the vividness." After continuous discussion and several drafts by Liu Wei, Cao Yishan and other co-creation masters, they were carefully polished in various details such as the size of the sculpture, the posture of the sword finger, the attitude of the eyebrows, and the decoration of the armor.

The finally fired "Tiger King" ceramic painted sculpture is as high as 37 centimeters, which has become a perfect combination of classical literary figure paintings, traditional arts and crafts, and literati sculptures, and is one of the few personified animal shapes in the traditional ceramic category. Dai Dunbang also said in a previous interview: "If everyone likes, we can continue to cooperate and make rabbits, dragons and others into a series." ”
