According to Reuters Berlin news, a spokesman for the German Cybersecurity Supervision Agency - German Information Technology Security Agency (BSI) said on the 13th local time that after months of investigation, they did not find any evidence to prove that there is a built-in function of censoring content in mobile phones produced by Chinese Xiaomi.
Last September, Lithuania's State Cybersecurity Agency accused Xiaomi phones of having built-in capabilities to detect and censor some sensitive terms, so BSI began a months-long investigation into Xiaomi phones.
According to the report, a BSI spokesperson said: "Based on our conclusions, BSI currently has no further investigation into the Xiaomi phone or other reasons to take measures. ”
