In this article, we will continue to focus on the story of Samantha Eve Wilkins, one of the key figures in the Indestructible universe.
By the time Eve finished erikson and his assistant changed her mind, the girl was exhausted. The process consumed all her energy, so she had no chance to save her birth mother or find her father, Dr. Brandyworth.
Back at home, Samantha sees how her stepfathers decorated everything for the girl's birthday. Eve's father was very angry with this "daughter" because she disappeared without a trace, without even warning them where she had gone. She didn't want to argue, she just went back to her room, closed the lock, and changed into a family portrait — now the picture shows Sam, Brandyworth, her biological mother and... Her relatives siblings.
Eve didn't know what to do next. Only one thing comes to mind – keep doing superheroes because she's simply not suited to do other characters. In the next feat, she meets Rex Plau – who decides to help the girl in the battle against the next criminal.
After they met, Rex Pullo spent the night at Eve's house (without sleeping for a while), and the next night he reappeared to tell his story. Together they go to cover up Rex and cut him off from Eriksen, and then the young couple join the superhero team and meet Mark Grayson.
For a while, Samantha simply performed the duties of a peaceful protector of the common man, until she once discovered that Rex was in the close company of several copies (this is another member of the superhero team, and the girl can clone herself an infinite number of times). This forced Eve to leave the group and fly to Africa.
In Africa, she helps ordinary people as much as she can — stopping looting, rainwater irrigation in the fields, hunting in other areas. Sometimes, the girl is a partner in solving global security issues. One of them sends Mark to another reality (thanks to Egstrom's portal, where he considers invincibility to be the culprit of all his troubles), where the son of the Almighty meets the old version of the Guardian of the Earth.
When Mark returns to his hometown, after another battle with the villains, he and Samantha are drawn into it, ultimately deciding their fate. This is followed by "Unbreakable War" (an excerpt from the comics when a group of offbeat Mark Grayson invades Earth and causes a real hell), during which Atomic Eve is seriously injured. When she is cut in the hospital, Invincible meets Conquest, who later kills the beloved girl who came to his aid.
But she wasn't dead—it turned out that at the peak of her abilities, when Sam's spiritual barrier flew away, she was able to come back to life. The conquest is defeated, Mark and Sam are happily healed, and as a result of their next relationship, the girl becomes pregnant.
In the future, the two will have to take part in several battles that will determine the fate of the planet, including against the robot, the former leader of the new Guardians. The couple had a girl, Terra, and Mark's father was still alive, even able to lead the remnants of the Veltrum Empire.
In the end, our heroes will be fine. Terra will grow up and continue her father's work, while Mark himself will marry Eve and become the new leader of Veltrum. We'll cover this in more detail in the next episode of the Invincible series.
