Love and Entanglement: The <夏娃的诱惑>Story Behind It

He took the initiative to signal to Hye-young, expecting a response, but Hye-young turned a blind eye to his enthusiasm and turned away coldly, leaving only Ji-hoon's smile frozen at the corners of his mouth and the lonely back of watching her drift away.
But fate doesn't seem to end there. A few days later, a mysterious phone call shatters Ji-hoon's peaceful life. When he heard the familiar voice on the other end of the phone, he couldn't help but feel a burst of ecstasy in his heart, which was exactly what he thought about Huiying day and night. This unexpected surprise made Jihoon's mood fly into the clouds in an instant, but he did not expect that more twists and turns and challenges were waiting for him.
Just when Ji-hoon is immersed in the joy of reconnecting with Hye-young, life throws cold water on him. He received a shocking news and hurried to the old man's morgue. However, his wife, Seon-hee, turned her back to him in a cold gesture, as if there was an invisible wall of ice between them. What surprised Ji-hoon even more was that the father-in-law left a huge inheritance, all of which belonged to Seon-hee.
Faced with his wife's indifference and the precarious marital relationship, Ji-hoon is anxious. In an attempt to repair and reverse his relationship with his wife, Sun-hee, he makes an unexpected decision - entrusting Hye-young to choose a birthday present for his wife on his behalf. For Hye-young, who is deeply in love with Ji-hoon, this is undoubtedly a painful torture. Her heart is full of contradictions and struggles, but her attachment to Jihoon makes her choose to swallow her anger and finally agree to his ridiculous request.
Hye-young begins her arduous journey of choosing a gift. She travels from mall to mall and boutique, trying to find the perfect gift that will impress Seon-hee and help Ji-hoon save her marriage. Every item flashed in front of her eyes, carrying her complex emotions and endless entanglements.
On the other hand, Ji-hoon tries to communicate with Sun-hee at home, but is always met with Sun-hee's cold words and deliberate avoidance. He didn't understand why the two people who once loved each other had come to such a field, and his heart was full of confusion and pain.
At the same time, in the process of choosing gifts, Hye-young keeps recalling the bits and pieces since she met Ji-hoon. Those short and beautiful moments, like bright stars, shone in her heart. However, she knows that this relationship may never see the light of day, and her heart is full of helplessness and sadness.
After some careful selection, Hye-young finally chose a gift. When she handed the gift to Jihoon, her eyes were full of reluctance and attachment. Ji-hoon looks at Hye-young gratefully, but he doesn't notice the pain in her heart.
Ji-hoon gives the gift to Sun-hee with trepidation, looking forward to seeing his wife's smile and the easing of the relationship. However, after Sun-hee took the gift, he just glanced at it indifferently, then threw it aside and turned away again, leaving Ji-hoon alone in the same place.
