2. Hindered Zhang Juzheng's ambitions
Although Gao Gong had the ability, his ability was not enough to make the Ming Dynasty prosperous, and the arbitrariness of gao gong hindered the development of the Ming Dynasty. In particular, it hindered Zhang Juzheng from realizing his own ambitions, so Gao Gong's dismissal was directly related to Zhang Ju.
Because Zhang Ju was one of the three major ministers after Emperor Mingshenzong ascended the throne, he could only exert his ambitions if he overthrew Gao Gong, so he asked the eunuch Feng Bao to impeach Gao Gong in front of the empress dowager of the two palaces, saying that Gao Gong thought that Ming Shenzong was young and difficult to be a king, and wanted to establish a new monarch.
This greatly shocked the empress dowager of the two palaces, so they deposed the high arch on the grounds of the monopoly of high arch.
Gao Gong was also the first assistant to the cabinet, but he was deposed in just a few years, which felt short-lived.
Gao Gong's dismissal was actually caused by himself, and after he became the first assistant, he was too arbitrary, did not listen to the advice of others at all, and wanted to cover the sky with one hand, which was a phenomenon that no one wanted to see.
Zhang Juzheng was also a capable and ambitious person, and he was also bent on reviving the Ming Dynasty, so he used a trick to make Gao Gong deposed.
