According to the Municipal Health Commission, the city optimized the order and service process of waiting for medical treatment. Appointments in tertiary hospitals are all accurate to less than 30 minutes. 102 tertiary hospitals have installed electronic calling systems in the waiting areas of key departments, and municipal hospitals have realized "bright code medical treatment, off-card medical treatment" such as social security cards and Beijing medical cards, and the order of waiting and medical treatment has been comprehensively improved.

In order to facilitate the "office workers" to seek medical treatment, 65 hospitals such as Xuanwu Hospital and Tiantan Hospital have opened night clinics to solve the problem of "office workers" seeking medical treatment. In view of the limited space of primary medical institutions, the pilot launched the "drug shortage is delivered" service, through the integration of shortage of drug registration, approval, procurement, distribution and other full-process closed-loop management, the shortage of drugs directly distributed to designated medical institutions or residents' homes.

In addition, the city supports the development of "Internet + medical services", there are currently 32 Internet hospitals, 131 medical institutions providing Internet diagnosis and treatment services, and about 300,000 patients were served online last year.

The Municipal Health Commission said that the city encourages residents to register for the first time in the grass-roots community; encourages medical institutions to carry out Internet diagnosis and treatment. The Municipal Health Commission requires all medical associations to actively use Internet technology to carry out services such as appointment diagnosis and treatment, two-way referral, and telemedicine, and higher-level medical institutions actively provide remote consultation, remote ECG diagnosis, remote imaging diagnosis, remote rounds and remote training services for the grass-roots level.
