The origin of the dialect "True Three"

"It's like Zhensan", the origin of the dialect "Zhensan"

When I spoke the Sixian dialect on Douyin, a friend asked me to talk about the ins and outs of the dialect "making it the same as Zhensan". In fact, this dialect is not the exclusive property of Sixian County, nor is it the exclusive property of a certain place, but it is found in many parts of the country, especially Anhui people, from south to north.

The original source, not very easy to verify, there are records in the classics, more is the folk legend, the classic records say that "true" is a kind of cultivator, the so-called real person, "three" is the harmonic sound of the immortal, "true three" originally means "true immortal", praising a person as if he had the ability to become an immortal, and some people will fox false tiger power, pretending to have the ability, others will also satirize him: "You see what you are doing, like the true immortal (three).""

Of course, folk legends are more interesting and most acceptable. Here I will talk about the two most popular versions.

The first is to say that there was a young man named Zhen San whose parents died since childhood, and then apprenticed with Luo Ye in Beijing Tianqiao, and offended Zhao Jiuye, a bully in Tianqiao, who was beaten by Zhao Jiuye and vomited blood, and soon died unjustly. Zhen Sanbai practiced under the door of the wrestling king Man Baye. Zhen San often helped people fight to make a living. If someone is unable to cross, others will say that he "makes it look like Zhen San", which means that this person is arrogant and domineering, posing as if he wants to fight or overwhelm the other party.

The second is to say that once upon a time there was a young man named Zheng San, his parents died early, he lived by going out to learn carpentry with people, because Zheng San studied hard work, endured hardships and stood hard work, and soon mastered the unique work of carpentry, after returning to his hometown, his reputation spread quickly to ten miles and eight townships, many large families had red and white happy events, they all asked him to make a dowry or a coffin, he also accepted an apprentice named Ning Si, when people could not invite him, they invited Ning Si, so some people said that the furniture made by Ning Si was as good as Zheng San, and would say "Ning Si is doing well, just like Zheng San!" ”

Ning Si's fame also gradually grew, he couldn't do it, so he took in his own apprentice, and the apprentice was also very competitive, and he did a very good job, similarly, when people couldn't invite Ning Si, they would ask his apprentice to do it, and people would say: "Do the same as Zheng San!" The onlookers would also retort, "Like Zheng San?" I still think it's the same as Ning Si. ”

Later, with the spread of dialects, Zheng San was said to be "Zhen San", but after all, Zhen characters are not easy to write, so people simply wrote it as "True Three".

Later, the "true three" was used to refer to a person who was very sloppy and burned the bun, and there was not a sentence after the break: "The weasel crouches on the grinding handle - pretending to be a big tail donkey", which is the most ironic interpretation of the dialect of "true three".

For example, in our lives, we will say to a person who points at you or points fingers and feet to blindly command: "Look at your serious appearance, five people and six people, how to see you like the true three." ”

Another example: We will also say to a person who wants to overwhelm you or offend you in momentum: "Where to drink?" It's like The True Three. The other party may also immediately reply with color: "Who do you say is the same as Shinzo?" I see you're still like Ning Si!" ”

Mutual disobedience is overflowing with words, and only those who understand this dialect can appreciate the mystery. (Compiled by Zhu Xiang)
