At the beginning of the new year, the Marriage Registration Office of the Civil Affairs Bureau of Gaoyao District welcomed a group of new couples, and for the health of the next generation, they all actively participated in the free premarital pre-pregnancy health examination. At the same time, in order to facilitate the masses, our district has set up a "free premarital and pre-pregnancy health examination" workstation at the Marriage Registration Office of the Civil Affairs Bureau to provide the public with five "health packages" for the convenience of the people before marriage and pregnancy.

The first of this "health package" is the dissemination of scientific knowledge of marriage and childbearing and birth defects; the second is premarital pregnancy health examination; the third is premarital pregnancy risk assessment and counseling guidance; the fourth is the distribution of folic acid supplements; and the last is the distribution of contraceptives. After the successful appointment to register the marriage, the public can conduct a premarital pre-pregnancy health examination at our place, as long as their household registration is in Guangdong or the unilateral household registration is in Guangdong, or the floating population holding a residence permit can participate in this examination. In addition, if you want to do a pre-pregnancy health examination, as long as you meet the fertility policy, every birth, including the second and third births, can participate in the examination.
It is understood that the "two tests in one" health examination before marriage and pregnancy include eugenic health education, medical history inquiry, physical examination, laboratory examination, virus screening, impact examination, thalassemia and G-6PD deficiency screening, AIDS examination and a total of 22 items. Eligible persons may be examined at the Premarital and Pre-Pregnancy Health Examination Workstation of the Civil Affairs Marriage Registry on the day of marriage registration at the District Maternal and Child Health Planning Service Center or on the day of marriage registration.

One or both parties who are registered as households in Guangdong Province or hold a valid "Guangdong Provincial Residence Permit" can enjoy a free pre-pregnancy health examination within 3 months from the time of the appointment of marriage registration to the time of pregnancy; couples who meet the reproduction policy can continue to enjoy a free pre-pregnancy eugenic health examination service every time according to the regulations. Where special persons, such as military marriage recipients, need to undergo premarital medical examinations before making an appointment for marriage registration, they shall be carried out in accordance with relevant provisions.
2. Purpose of service
(1) Promote reproductive health and improve the quality of marriage and childbearing.
(2) Improve the level of scientific knowledge of eugenics for newlyweds and couples planning to become pregnant, and enhance the awareness of pre-pregnancy risk prevention;
(3) Improve the health status of newlywed and planned pregnant couples, reduce or eliminate risk factors leading to adverse pregnancy outcomes such as birth defects, prevent the occurrence of birth defects, and improve the quality of the birth population.

Newlyweds can undergo pre-marital and pre-pregnancy health examinations at the Premarital And Pregnancy Health Examination Workstation of the Civil Affairs Marriage Registration Office on the day of marriage registration after making an appointment for marriage registration; couples planning to become pregnant can directly go to the Gaoyao District Maternal and Child Health And Child Health Family Planning Service Center to receive pre-pregnancy eugenic health examinations (for details, see the flow chart of premarital and pre-pregnancy health examination services for newlywed and planned pregnant couples).

Newlyweds and pregnant couples who are planning to become pregnant can obtain the complete examination results and the "Notice of Premarital Pre-pregnancy Health Examination Evaluation Suggestions" through the "Guangdong Mother and Child Health E Manual" mini program 10 working days after completing all the examination items; the premarital pre-pregnancy health examination service agency provides face-to-face eugenics consultation and guidance services for newlyweds and pregnant couples whose risk assessment results are at risk.
Those who participate in the free screening must meet the following conditions:
1. There is no fever (above 37.3 °C), cough, fatigue, muscle soreness, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, other symptoms within 14 days.
2. No history of going out, travel history, etc. within 14 days (including overseas and domestic high school risk areas).
3. There is no contact history of confirmed and suspected patients with new coronary pneumonia in the area of residence within 14 days.
